Retro Future

summary

This story is based on the beautiful edit mystylezutter made, which inspired me to write this story on the first place.

Just like the Detroit: Become Human videogame, I've separated the story into three parts, giving different perspectives of the futuristic life. Although the three stories appear to be no related, there will be a moment when they will convert to form the Retro Future.

Retro Friends: Yoongi-Jimin-Jin

Jimin is an old 2038 model that has been activated for the first time and suffers due to his old programming. Yoongi is a brand new 2062 model, rebooted from the original 2038 line Jimin belongs to. Jin is the human that wants to make them happy to cope with the guilt he feels over his best friend's death.

Retro Love: Taehyung-Jungkook.

Taehyung is a genius that manages to create his own android without any of Cyberlife's components. Jungkook is his creation. When they both start to fall in love, Taehyung doesn't know if acting on his feelings is the right thing to do.

Retro Dance: Namjoon-Hoseok.

To improve his dancing skills and be able to remain on the top of the incredibly challenging dance market, Hoseok gets the best model Cyberlife has to offer, the RM500. Even though Namjoon doesn't have the skills Hoseok expected him to have, he stills keeps him as his roommate and helps him develop his own passion for music.
