This is a super intense chapter so just... beware.

You handed Blaire some juice and leaned on the table.

"So what happened?" You asked, chewing on a piece of celery.

"I dunno. The lights when out. I got made fun of." Blaire said, taking her mask off to eat.

"Who made fun of you?" You ask, becoming a bit defensive for your daughter.

"Dunno. Just a girl. She stopped though!" Blaire smiled, taking a sip of her juice.

"Did you two get along?" You say, hearing the front door open and shut. Jason walked in, leaning against the wall.

"No. I might not see her for awhile." Blaire said coldly. You felt a sudden urge to...

"Run."

You shrug it off quickly and go to kiss Jason.

"Did everyone get out safely?" You ask, kissing your husband on the cheek by the edge of his mask.

"No." Blaire shrugged.

"No?" You turned around, leaning your back against Jason. He put his arms around your waist from behind you.

"A couple got killed. Blood everywhere." Blaire stared right in your eyes.

"Thats not-"

"It's okay, Mother." Blaire responded.

"That's... okay." You said finally.

Jason let go of you and rubbed Blaire's head affectionately.

Blaire smiled and put the mask back on and turned away, walking up to her room.

You snapped out of it.
What just happened?

You saw Jason standing there, machete in hand.

"Run. Now."

That wasn't... Pamela...? It was...

"Wait until he's gone and then run."

You blinked. Jason turned and went outside, shutting the door.

You cleaned up Blaire's mess and went to watch TV when an awful feeling set in your stomach.

"Open... Your eyes!"

You groaned when your head started hurting and suddenly everything around you was trashed. It was dark, blood was on the wall, the entire place was ruined. Your head thumped again and you shut your eyes and opened them. It was all normal. Clean. Except some books on the couch you were reading. The light lit up the living room and half the kitchen.

"That... was weird." You said.

"Hey, mom." Blaire came downstairs, mask and all.

"Wake up!"

You cluched your head and closed and opened your eyes again. Blaire stood there, dried blood on her clothes and mask. Her eyes were a dim blue and she looked insane.

You fell to the floor, in terror.

You blinked and it was normal again, this time Blaire standing over you.

"Mom, its okay, calm down." She said.

You nodded, fearfully.
What was happening? Were you going insane being trapped here for so long?

Or were your instincts finally kicking in?

***

That night you stayed alert. Maybe you were just needing socializing. Maybe you just needed to rest?

You heard the door open and flinched.

Slowly you sat up and looked at who opened the door.

Jason. He looked calm and happy to see you. You blinked, your head hurting and your gut churning.

You opened your eyes wide and screamed as you saw...

A killer!

He had a bloody hockey mask, mean looking eyes, a machete and worn clothes.

It was Jason Voorhees. The serial killer.

You blinked again, this time hitting your whole side against the wall and falling down.

You felt rough hands around your shoulder, lifting you up.

Jason had worry in his eyes.

"I-I'm okay, you just.... startled me." You hold your hand against your thumping heart for a moment and get up with the help of your husband.

He pulls you into a hug lovingly.

"Sorry."

"It's okay. Don't worry." You smile, loving the moment.

He let you go and you snuggled underneath the blankets, getting comfy. Jason said good night and walked back out.

Around four in the morning you awoke with your head hurting more than before.

"The door!"

In an instant, you were on your feet and running to the door. You wiggled it. It was locked.

You looked around. The bedroom was trashed and dirty from the lack of house keeping and proper cleaning.

"Wh-whats happening?!" You say fearfully, slowly walking back to the bed crying.

"Stay calm. When they're around you'll be in a trance."

"Who are you?!" You say, trying to keep quiet.

"Connect the dots. It all connects."

Your eyes widened.

Jason used to be your best friend. He drowned. He came back to get revenge. He found you, and you wouldn't stay with him...

You were in a trance half the time. Half the things happened in your head. Jason wasn't so gentle with you, in fact he was a little mean. Because he was a serial killer and you were a normal human being slowly being manipulated and slowly went into a trance half the time due to shock.

"Th-this... isn't happening!" You cried.

"Be smart. Listen to your instincts... and you'll be out. Be carful of that thing you call a daughter. She's no little girl."

You felt your head hurt worse than before and everything was normal. However it was in your mind. You realized the bedroom... Looked like your old room.
It all connected... almost.

Being kept by a serial killer can mess with ones mind. Telling yourself over and over it was okay and it was gonna be like home you began to believe it and made a world to protect you from the truth. This is why everybody was so disturbed. You saw a perfect world and they saw the truth.

You smiled slightly. Your instincts were on full go now.
