Ten year old you was a Camp Crystal Lake fanatic. You LOVED everything about it. The beautiful lake the wildlife and how peaceful it was. You had even met a friend there. His name was... Oh what was it? You can't remember correctly because you've had it pushed back in your mind for so long without you even knowing. Being ten years old and seeing dead bodies can mess with a mind easily being so young. So you pushed it far far far back in your mind with the help of your father and mother and therapists, you were able to forget the horrid murders of Camp Crystal Lake. But you also forgot your best friends name. You asked your father for a few years until, finally, when you were 14, your father said he had drowned. You were so heartbroken and angry. But finally you were 18. And you had forgotten everything about that place. Until one day...
"(Y/n)! Your friends are here!" Your mom yelled. You groaned. God, you hated waking up early. But today was the day you are going to Camp Crystal lake.
Getting out of bed and pulling on some shorts and a t shirt you put on some sneakers and walked over to your door. You had your bags all packed and ready to go. You stumbled into the hallway and down the stairs. You see your two best friends, Joe a 19 year old country girl, and Stacy, a 17 year old party girl. You were a tomboy (tomboy means girl who just doesn't mind getting dirty if you have to and you dont really wear makeup n shit) and you were excited about returning to the lake you once knew and loved.
You hugged your childhood friends and smiled at them.
"Ready to go, (N/n nickname)?" Joe asked. You smiled and nodded happily.
"I'm excited to finally go to this place after all those years." You said, slightly shivering over the thoughts you tried so hard to forget. Of course you would remember it again. But you also wanted to remember your friend. He was so nice to you. You remembered nobody really liking him but you found him to be fun. His mother was very nice as well. But she... she was the reason you couldn't go to the lake anymore for years. Until finally she was gone. It was quite sad but-"(N/n? Hey! (Y/n)!" Joe and Stacy snapped you out of your thinking.
"Sorry just.. thinking. Let's go." You smile.
"Please be carful, honey." Your mom smiled. You nodded and you and your friends walked out into the car. You sat in the front seat and Stacy slid in the drivers side and Joe in the backseat. You grabbed your phone and searched up Camp Crystal Lake. Instead of finding the rules you found chilling stories about a man who would kill teens.
Joe and Stacy were arguing like little kids while you read on.
Rumors have been going around that counselors that have been murdered are being murdered by a man named Jason Voorhees. It is nothing more than a legend and a campfire story. However the last murder was recorded last month and only one made it out but later died due to blunt force trauma. We hope you stay safe and have fun!
You looked at the dude's name. It sounds so...
"(Y/n), don't you have anybody special you're inviting?" Stacy poked your side, making you curl up to block her from tickling you.
"I...don't really date I've never clicked with anybody." You snicker. You felt like you shouldn't date until you found the one you're going to stay with forever. You never really clicked with anybody either.
"Well I'm for sure gonna hook up with that other counselor, Lane, he's sexy A-F." Stacy said. You rolled your eyes and figured out she must of looked at the counselor site when you all signed up to be one. Joe was looking at the girl counselors however.
"OKAY." You snap.
They both look at you in confusion, Stacy keeping her eyes on the road as much as she could.
