There was this huge awkward silence that was killing me. Lauren cleared her throat a bit, "I know this is awkward for the both of us. And I wanted to apologize for everything that I did in the past."

I shrugged a bit, "it's whatever." I said quietly, looking at the distance.

(Lauren got a flashback of the interview where she said whatever and walked away, leaving a teary Camila behind.)

Lauren touched my hand causing me to look at her. "I'm so extremely sorry Camila, I was such an idiot for leaving you behind." She said as her voice cracked.

I slowly pulled my hand away from her. "It's ok Lauren, it's in the past now."

(Lauren was low key hurt that Camila pulled her hand away. But she knew what she did wrong and she's regretting it so much. She doesn't deserve Camila.)

I noticed Lauren biting her lip before she nodded. God.. she looks stunning. She always does either way. Her lips.. her eyes.. her smile.. I crave them all.

I sighed a bit, looking up at the moon. Immediately my heart shattered. God.. remembering when I sang "only told the moon" to Lauren makes my heart ache. I took my eyes off the moon.

"Camila I.."

"Hm?"

I looked at her as I watched her lean in slowly. My heart was racing, I didn't stop her. We were so close by now. But the moment got ruined.

"Lauren are you- oh.my.god!"

We immediately pulled away looking at door. It was Dinah and she was shocked. That and she was fangirling.

I cleared my throat backing away from Lauren. We were a blushing mess. "Camren is so real right now." Dinah said like a proud mother.

I looked away clearly embarrassed, I looked at my phone. Shit. I stayed here too long. "Shit, I have to go." I sad putting my phone away, as I was about to leave Lauren grabbed my hand. I looked at her with a confused expression.

"Maybe we can hangout someday?"

"Sure."

Lauren's face lit up with happiness. Meanwhile, Dinah was fangirling hard enough that she started dancing. Lauren let go of my hand. I said my goodbyes to them both, before I went downstairs, walking out of the building.

As usual, the paparazzi were taking pictures. My ride was waiting for me as one of the men opened the door. I got inside before he closed it.

I flopped down on my bed sighing in exhaustion. Today was..wild. I never would've imagined talking to Lauren after so long. After all these years, why now? But god, it's worth it.

We were so close to kissing too. Everything feels like a dream. But it's not. This is reality. I checked the time.

12:30 am.

Fuck, I need sleep.

But I seriously don't want to. The thought of Lauren still bombards my mind. Her touch, her lips, she's just.. perfect.

Then, she texted me.

-Text Log-

L: hey
C: this is a surprise
Lauren is typing...
L: I guess it is
C: how come you're not asleep?
L: Dinah
C: oh
L: yea, but it was worth it

I blushed ever so slightly.

C: was it really?
L: of course it is! I mean, who wouldn't want to risk it?
C: how ironic

(Lauren slightly winced in pain, but she knew it was true)

L: how was your day so far?
C: it was ok, until Matthew ruined it. But luckily you saved me.
L: how come you didn't just walk away?

I bit my lip slightly.
