I took them, swallowing them down with water. "Feel better?" She asked. I nodded a bit, putting the empty cup on the counter. I sniffed a bit looking at Lauren's shoulder. It's all wet from all the crying.
"Sorry about your shirt..."
"It's cool."
None of us spoke, it was dead quiet. God this is so awkward and I hate it.
"You ok now?"
"Yea.. I'm ok."
"That's good." Lauren said calmly.
It was back to being awkward. I sighed a bit, humming ever so softly. Lauren just stared in awe. "Don't stare, it's embarrassing." I said looking at her. She couldn't help but smile. "I've always stared at you, why get embarrassed now?" She said gently.
I blushed a bit knowing that she was right. I covered my face with the pillow next to me.
She chuckled, "how adorable."
"Shut it."
"Nope, you're going to have to make me."
"Ugh, I hate you."
"Love you too."
"Whatever." I said rolling my eyes playfully.
Lauren just laughed, "remember that one time where you dropped the mic stand but failed to catch it, so you picked it up saying "smooth huh?"."
"Oh my god stop." I said holding back my laughter.
"Or that time when you choked on your own spit when singing." Lauren said laughing her ass off.
"Shut up Lauren." I said laughing before hitting her with the pillow. But she didn't stop she continued to mention all my fails live. We ended up play fighting while doing so. "I hate you." I said panting from all the moving and laughing. "Love you too." She said chuckling lightly while panting.
I couldn't help but smile. I realized that I was on top of her, immediately I got off clearing my throat.
-
I was at my apartment laying down on my bed. Man, today was wild. So much for it being a normal hangout. I let her see my emotions again. Dammit all.
I sighed, before taking a long warm shower. I bit my lip at the thought of Lauren. Woah, calm down. There's a time and place for that. But not right now.
-a couple minutes later-
I changed into some comfortable clothes. Before I decided to tweet something.
"The greatest thing you'll ever learn is just to love and be loved in return."
I turned off my phone as I grabbed my guitar. I started to play a random melody, humming along with it.
I decided to go live again on IG. I positioned my phone. It didn't take long for people to join. "Welcome to another live." I said with a smile.
"What am I going to play? Hm, I don't know at the moment." I said answering a question.
"Alicia Keys If I ain't got you. Ok then." I said strumming the tune.
"Some people live for the fortune
Some people live just for the fame
Some people live for the power, yeah
Some people live just to play the game
Some people think that the physical things define what's within
And I've been there before, and that life's a bore
So full of the superficial
Some people want it all
But I don't want nothing at all
If it ain't you baby
If I ain't got you baby
Some people want diamond rings
Some just want everything
But everything means nothing
If I ain't got you, yeah
Some people search for a fountain
That promises forever young
Some people need three dozen roses
And that's the only way to prove you love them
Hand me the world on a silver platter
And what good would it be
With no one to share, with no one who truly cares for me
Some people want it all
But I don't want nothing at all
If it ain't you baby
If I ain't got you baby
Some people want diamond rings
Some just want everything
But everything means nothing
If I ain't got you
Some people want it all
But I don't want nothing at all
If it ain't you baby
If I ain't got you baby
Some people want diamond rings
Some just want everything
But everything means nothing
If I ain't got you, yeah
If I ain't got you with me baby
So nothing in this whole wide world don't mean a thing
If I ain't got you with me baby."~A/N~
Was anyone hurting as well? No? Just me? Ok then. I just realized that this story is going to end. I'm sad now.
