2 ― DEPARTURE.

the boys were dropped off at the airport, renjun and chenle bidding their goodbyes. the drive to the airport was filled with laughs and chenle's complaints about how unfair it was for them to receive a trip. ten participated in teasing kun as usual, along with xuxi and renjun poking fun too. kun had just huffed with his ears and cheeks red.

thankfully the airport was quiet and empty.

when they reached the gate for their flight, chenle and renjun hugged kun tightly. sicheng, who loved the two babies embraced them multiple times. ten stood there awkwardly, envious that his mandarin wasn't as defined enough to join in their laughter.

it was time for the dreamies to leave for their later schedule. "i'm gonna miss you!" chenle screeched. as renjun dragged him away from the gate.

kun laughed at the youngest. "be honest, the only reason why you're gonna miss me is because of my food!" kun yelled back. he could hear chenle and renjun's bright laughter slowly echoing and fading away. yangyang behind him grinned in amusement.

they were finally on the plane. the seating arrangement was simple. kun put the rowdiest ones in the back, so ten, xuxi and hendery. xiaojun and yangyang sat together, leaving him and sicheng for themselves.

sicheng settled himself in, taking up two seats and resting his head on kun's lap. kun sighed and relaxed into his seat, playing with sicheng's hair. the plane's loud engines rumbled over the loud ones' laughter, the low sound slowly lulling kun into sleep.

around thirty minutes later, he woke up to someone shaking his shoulders slightly. the heavy weight also known as sicheng was gone, meaning the boy probably went off to find yangyang. rubbing his eyes, trying to clear his blurry vision and adjust to the blinding lights, he recognized the short, well builded body of ten's. his vision was finally clear and he pouted. "what..." kun mumbled. "i'm so tired." he whined softly.

ten laughed at him quietly. "me too, but xuxi was so loud, so move over." that was kind of a lie. fifteen minutes after the plane took off, xuxi and hendery were dosed off, and ten was extremely bored. he went to the front where kun and sicheng sat and frowned as he saw kun's hands tousled into the younger boy's hair, still asleep. sicheng was wide awake on his phone and grinned as he spotted ten. he ended up sitting beside yangyang, sticking out his tongue at ten with a knowing glint in the eye.

kun sat in the middle seat, pushing his bags over to the last one as ten sat into the seat right next to the row. ten fiddled his fingers nervously.

his crush for kun was no secret. practically all twenty of them knew except for the naive kun. the younger ones would tease him often while the older ones would watch in amusement and laugh their asses off with ten blushing profusely and kun looking confused as ever.

he mentally shook his head. now was not the time to be all shy.

"can i rest my head in your lap?" ten smirked confidently at kun, but inside he was yelling inside.

kun, at this point, didn't seem to care as long as he got to sleep for the next thirty minutes. "go ahead." he mumbled, and put his bags on the seat in front him and sat at the window seat. ten almost burst into happiness and lay down. he grabbed kun's small hands and placed them on his head.

kun, who was just about to doze off, raised an eyebrow at ten. sighing in defeat, he began to play with ten's hair, massaging his head. ten smiled happily and teasingly blew a flying kiss to kun. kun smiled and closed his eyes and fell asleep.

ten couldn't help but state at him. aside from his amazing and kind personality, ten was also head over heels for kun's cute looks. plump red lips that formed the brightest smile, the cutest button nose and doe eyes darker than the black coffee their manager would drink every day. ten would find himself getting lost in the depths of kun's eyes sometimes.

soon enough, he too was fast asleep. when they finally reached weizhou, ten awoke to laughter and the sounds of an iphone camera shutter. "they really are the old couple!" xiaojun laughed out loud. ten grumbled, annoyed that he woke up to the younger ones teasing him. extending his leg, he tried his best to kick someone, anywhere, and succeeded. hearing xuxi groan in pain, ten smirked and finally opened his eyes. "karma, bitch." by then kun was awake too, eyes narrowed in annoyance, but xiaojun noticed their oldest's ears turning pink with embarrassment and smirked.

"kun-ge, are you blushing?" xiaojun asked. kun rolled his eyes and sat up, grabbing his bags. "shut up. let's go, grab your stuff."

with yangyang whooping in excitement that they finally reached their destination, the seven of them happily exited the airplane.
