To All The Boys I've Loved Before: College

Part 6

It's been a 2 days since the last part. Peter has to leave in 3 days. I can't believe we are already over halfway over his visit. We basically just hung out when I wasn't in classes but it was still enough. For now at least. I don't know what I will do with my free time when Peter leaves. I guess I could make those cookies he wants me to send him but I don't know.

After my classes, I texted Peter to let him know I was done and he could come over. I was really hungry so I waited until Peter got here and we went to the local diner like we did back home. Peter drove his car and we sat hand in hand in comfortable silence.

Once we got to the diner, we sat down and read the menu.
"I think I'll get the eggs, bacon and hash browns." Peter said to the waiter.
"I'll have the pancakes please." I said.
"So what to you want to do today?"
"I don't know. Maybe watch one of the movies on our list?" I said.
"Yeah. Or we could try to bake together." He said with a smile on his face.
"Peter I don't want my kitchen to be blown up."
"I won't blow your kitchen up." Peter said tilting his head.
I stare at him not believing it.
"Maybe a little flour everywhere but I won't blow your kitchen up!"
"Fine. What do you want to make?"
"Cake. I know I won't be able to make cookies like you do already so let's just do cake."
"Fine by me." I said smiling at Peter.
"What?" He said looking right back at me.
"I love you."
"I love you too."

We ate and when we were done, we went home to make the cake. Peter said he wanted to make a chocolate cake. Peter was right. He got flour EVERYWHERE.
"Peter!" I said
"Covey!" He yelled back.
"You're cleaning it up." I said crossing my arms over my chest.
He laughed at that.
"What?" I said to him.
"You know if you make me clean it, it won't be fully cleaned, right?"
"Yep, but I'll make sure you clean it all."
Overall, the cake turned out pretty well. We made a chocolate cake with vanilla buttercream icing. Peter decided he wanted to decorate it with sprinkles too. After that, there was also sprinkles EVERYWHERE on the counter. The top of the cake was very colorful from all the sprinkles though, I'll give him that.

When he was cleaning, I kept making Peter Clean more when it wasn't fully cleaned. The cleaning took longer than making the cake did. But oh well.
