a new year's eve party for sm. that's the special event going on today, and all idols from snsd to nct were invited and many more. exo was of course invited and the members of exo were getting dressed in the fanciest outfits.
of course all the men wore black suits and ties, but minsun was different. completely different, due to her being the only female she would be the only one wearing a dress, but thanks to her personal tailor from her family she was able to be a star.
kim minsun's pov
"so you'll just meet up with us at the venue?"junmyeon says through the phone. "yeah, just stay in the front and wait for me"i say and end the call, "do you plan to impress anyone tonight?"my tailor says and i think. then i remember a certain someone.
"yeah...a little bit"i say smiling thinking of that person. soon after the tailor finally finished my outfit and paired it with rose gold heels.

"there you go, go now! off to impress your prince charming"the tailor says, i smile going off to the limo and then off to the venue.

exo waited patiently for their female maknae, each boy was standing and talking, but sehun was not speaking at all. sehun was by far the most nervous to see minsun, minsun has spoked about how amazing her tailor was and sehun wanted to know what her tailor styled her for this event.
soon a black limo pulled up and sehun noticed the km on the window. it was minsun's limo, a man came out and opened the door and minsun stepped out in the most beautiful rose gold dress.
the boys stood there in awe at minsun, but sehun was already walking towards minsun. minsun noticed sehun and smiled, "hey sehun"she says smiling. she was still normal, just all dolled up. "h-hey sunny"sehun says looking at her.
"you like it?"she asked and sehun nods, the boys all come around complimenting minsun on her outfit and soon they all go inside. all the boys stood behind minsun, but sehun stood right next to her.
his eyes not leaving her at all, as they made their way down large stairs to get to the hall everyone noticed exo's maknae. sehun held minsun's hand, she looked at him. "i-i don't want you to fall"he says and she smiled, "thanks sehunnie!"she says as they all walked down the stairs.
behind those smiles was a nervous wreck, sehun was paying full attention to minsun. she loved it, and was exactly what she wanted. she really liked sehun and wanted to be the only person he looks at, not to sound like a weirdo or anything.
as they got down the boys started separating. most of the members went to talk to nct, junmyeon ran off to find red velvet. that left sehun and minsun alone, "don't worry, i won't run off. i'll stick with you for tonight"sehun said and minsun smiled and nod.

throughout the whole night sehun did multiple things for minsun. things he'd probably only do for her, it was 11:50. sehun had planned to have his new year's kiss with minsun. "hey sehun, i saw this pretty garden outside. can we go?"she asked, sehun nod and followed her out.
the garden was filled with lanterns and beautiful lights with beautiful flowers. minsun looked around mesmerized, taking in everything. sehun watched her, smiling at how her eyes lit up. little did sehun now, minsun was hoping and praying for her new years kiss would be with him.
sehun checked the time, 11:59, sehun almost flipped. "minsun can i ask you something?"he asked. minsun turned and nod, you could hear the people inside counting down. however it was quiet outside, and soon it counted down from 10.
"will you be my new year's kiss?"he asked, minsun smiled. her heart did a million flips, and once it was zero she didn't hesitate to kiss sehun. sehun was the utmost surprised, but kissed her back.
now inside, exo were cheering for the two youngest. "finally!"chanyeol yells clinging onto baekhyun, "after so many years of nothing!"jongdae. kai handed kyungsoo twenty dollars, junmyeon watched the two youngest. he seemed content with this ending.
minsun and sehun pulled away and sehun noticed the boys, he chuckled and turned minsun around. she saw them and started laughing, sehun wrapped his arms around minsun's waist as they watch the boys cheer on for them.
