(Y/N)'s POV

You gasp. "You w-what?! Ban I...I'm sorry but I don't love you back"

His eyes widen. He sobs and you pat his back. "I hope we can still be friends Ban..."

He pushes your hand away from him and runs deeper into the forest. You lean against a tree and think about your choice and if you've just destroyed his heart.

Ban's POV

I let my legs take me away. "W-What have I done..."

You stop and fall on your knees and cry. "I just should've kept my mouth shut!"
You hear a voice in your head saying " Ban you didn't do anything wrong...you told her how you felt..but she didn't accept those feelings and that's okay because life doesn't always give you what you want...you just have to learn how to move on..sure it'll be hard to move on and forget about the love of your life but, you don't have to forget instead you can turn those feelings away and give them to someone who is willing to return your love".
You get up and wipe your tears. You go back and try to look for (y/n). You hear sobs, and see (y/n) up against a tree. With her arms hugging her knees and her head down between her knees.

"I'm sorry (y/n)...I'd love to be your friend".

(Y/n)'s POV

You look up and see Ban's hand reached out to you. You take it and get up. He hugs you and you hug him back.

"Let's go back to the others"

You and Ban walk back into the sunset to the tavern.
