Grayson left 15 minutes ago so I just went downstairs to watch Tv. I suddenly hear my door bell ring so I get up to answer it. Walk over to the door and open it to see Ethan. He fixes his hair and looks up at me. I smile at him so he smiles back.

"Hey thanks for coming." I say opening the door for him to come in.

"Thanks for having me." He says and walks through the door way to the kitchen.

I look outside to see a car slowly coming by and speed up as they past. I ignore it and close the door. I follow behind Ethan and walk up to the fridge.

"Want a sprite?" I ask as he sits down on one of the stools for the kitchen island.

"Sure." He says pulling out his phone.

I grab 2 pops and hand one to Ethan. He takes it and opens it. I open mine too and take a sip.

"You wanted to talk?" Ethan says his question as a sentence and sips his soft drink.

"Yeah, um I just wanted us to talk about what's happening with our friend group. I feel like this unnecessary drama it's causing friction between all of us and you and Grayson's relationship. I miss us all being together and having a good time. I feel like as soon as Emma- not being disrespectful- came into this group you got really distant with us. Like she was stealing you away from everyone. Literally 2 days after we met her you started dating. Then you really just gave all the attention to her. Nothing was left for us. I tried to welcome her with us but she always gave attitude. I wanted to make her belong but it was like she didn't want to. She started being bossy and kind of a bitch but I rubbed it off because I thought she was joking. Until one day I tried to joke back but she didn't take it how i took her jokes. She said some really hurtful things to me, I couldn't believe it. I spent all this time trying to build a relationship and she just throws it away. So I fought her, and by doing that I didn't only loose her but I lost the best friend I've had for 9 years. She's only been here for a month, and look what's happening. I miss things being back to normal. I don't like things this way." I say the last part with tears in my eyes.

I let them fall because I'm tired of fighting. Ethan stays silent so I start talking again.

"I don't mean for this to come off as me bad mouthing Emma, because I believe she could be a good friend, but she's really making it hard for me to believe in that." I finish, but lie about Emma being a good friend, she has no trait of being a good friend if you really know her.

Only if you really knew her Ethan.

I look at Ethan to see him looking at me. His eyes were shining as he looks at me sorry. He gets up and walks towards me. He opens his arms for me to hug him, I take the offer and hug his waist. He hugs my shoulders and squeezes tight.

"I'm so sorry Laila." He says.

"I miss us too and thinking about everything now makes so much since. She's only been in my life for a month and I choose her over my best friends and my brother. I broke the two most important bonds I've ever had for one that just started. I bet she doesn't even know my middle name." He laughs at the last part and continues.

"She said some really sensitive shit that you trusted her to know and she used them against you. She tried to steal me away and she lied to me. All that fake crying and I fell for it. I'm so sorry Laila, I'm sorry to our friends and my brother too." He says and plus away from me.

"It's ok E. I'm sorry too thanks for coming." I say.
