after Gray told her what happened with Emma and the things he knows (I didn't want to tell it again.🙂💝)

i sit there

tears running down my face

body numb

In disbelief

"How could you...." I barely get out.

"Laila I'm sorry she-"

"HOW COULD YOU GRAYSON?! I GOT IN THIS RELATIONSHIP FOR TRUST AND LOVE! you think I cheated on you and you belived it with some bullshit evidence?! Obviously Emma was trying to do something because she doesn't like me! Now you got yourself into MY LIFE and MY PROBLEMS because you wanted to ask questions?! Once my family hears about this it's all my fault! NOT ONLY HAVE YOU LOST MY TRUST BUT YOU'VE FUCKED EVERYTHING UP! You also have the audacity to have sex with me THEN tell me about this bullshit?! I- WHAT THE FUCK GRAYSON?!" I say through anger, mostly because he knows to much....why don't I feel anger for him cheating on me?

This is honestly the most scarred I've ever been

I have tears falling down my face on my neck soaking the collar of my hoodie....his hoodie. Grayson looks at me with his glassy hazel eyes with sadness like before. My best friend of almost 12 years just stabbed me 20 times in the heart. A wound you can't fix.

"I- take me home, while I call my mom to figure this out." I say picking up my phone.

He nods and pulls off the beach.

"And Grayson?" I speak getting his attention.

"Yes?" He ask

"Don't speak on anything you know."

Later on at Laila's house with her mom's there.

Grayson and I sit in the bench in my backyard as my mom paces back and forth in front of us. She doesn't know Grayson cheated on me. Everyone else is inside finishing the pizza that we ordered with no clue of what's doing on.

"Do you guys realize how much of a problem this is? This means they're attacking! We're no longer safe in New Jersey and since Grayson is involved he isn't either! I should've kept you home schooled and away from the world!" She says yelling.

Grayson and I swing our head low letting my moms anger out. Even though non of this is my fault I still feel really guilty.

"You guys Annika is right, teenage drama and the business should never collide. This is a mess and risking your friends lives. We're probably going to have to leave now." Gabbie my step mom says.

"Yes we are leaving." Mom says

"How is this anyone's fault? Except for Emma's. She was the one who exsposed us to Gray-" I was interrupted by all of our phones going off in sync.

I take mine out to see a message from Emma in a group chat. The group chat has me, Ethan, Grayson, Cameron, James, Larray, Tina, Tessa and my moms. A message just exposing who we are. Now she's getting everyone I know involved. Know that they know we have to make sure they understand that this is a secret. Emma is probably doing this on purpose, just to make it harder for me and my family. Then 2 more messages are sent from Emma.

Emma- I thought I'd just spice it up for you Annika, this should be fun.

Emma- also Ethan I'm breaking up with you...

What the hell Emma? I get up leaving the bench with my moms and Grayson following me. I run into the kitchen where everyone was to see them shocked looking down at their phones. I see Ethan who looks broken completely. He shakes his head in denial but looks up when he sees me. So does everyone else. My mom comes running in after me like a mad woman with Gabbie behind her. She catches everyone's attention as they straighten their posture.
