Healing to train!

Natsu's POV

We turned in the band of wolves. More like pups to me. Collecting the reward.

The. They were released to Kagome and Inuyasha to deal with punishment over the Shikon Jewel they'd stolen.

We had recently returned home with a few new friends, but I hadn't seen much of a certain girl since we'd returned home. Lucy was taking it easy letting some miner wounds heal. I decided to go check up on her.

Lucy's POV

I was resting at home, still recovering from a few minor external wounds, the gash to my leg still was painful though. I told Wendy not to worry about it.

I was finally comfortable, drinking some tea, when there was a knock on my door. Upon answering it I found it to be Levy.

We squeal are greetings and I invite her in the living room for tea. Levy and I were talking about possibilities of new magic for a mage of my standers to learn. When my window flung open and in fell Natsu and Happy.

"Ahh!" Levy jumped up from where she'd been sitting. Shocked by the sudden racket.

"What the heck you two!" I shouted.

"Luuucy!" Happy hugged me "we came to check on you!" He continued.

"Yeah so we popped in. How ya feeling?" Natsu said sitting up on my bed.

"More like dropped." Levy snickered. "Well Lu-Chan I'm gonna get going, I ah.. gotta meet up with someone." Levy said as she left.

Natsu's POV

Happy and I sat talking to Lucy for a while losing track of time. It was late in the night when Lucy decided to make some food. I watched over her as she cooked

Soon, we sat down to eat. Happy stuffed his face, then wobbled to the couch and flopped down a sleep.

Luce and I chuckled at the sight. I looked deep into her brown eyes as she stared back at me. I reached for her hand..

Lucy's POV

I was caught in Natsu's onyx orbs when a itch caught my attention. I moved my hand to scratch near the gash on my leg noticing a wet, warm sensation. Looking down I see that the wound was bleeding. Soon after that Natsu fallowed my gaze.

"Luce! Your bleeding." As He got up and bending down to look at my leg. He took off the old bandage and inspected it.

"Sit tight. I'll get fresh wraps. Bathroom right?" He glanced back with a soft smile.

Returning he knelt back down and begun wiping the blood off. "Igneel always said that if you get hurt ya gotta get up, lick your wounds and continue on" he said. A hint of sadness/happiness in his face. I was hit with a quick burning feeling that made me wince.

Looking down at the cut as he pulled his lips away from the cut, before wrapping it up. From the looks of it, I could assume he had tried to cauterize the gash.

"Thanks." I said with a sleepy smile.

Natsu's POV

I picked her up bridal style out of her chair, after seeing how tired she was. Laying her down in bed, where I cuddled up close to her.

"Natsu..what are we..?" Lucy asked sleepily after getting cozy.

But my snoring answered back, my own exhaustion setting in.

—few days later—

Natsu's POV

Lucy's been training with her celestial spirits. She said it was something extra they put together for her to help her out. Happy and I are sitting at the guild.

"Let's go to the mountains for a few months! I want to train!" I yell,fired up about my idea.

"Aye sir!" Happy jumps up. "Wait, what about Lucy?" Happy then questions.

"She's training, why can't we?" I raise a brow at the blue exceed.

And few seconds later, Lucy busts through the guild doors. "Natsu!" She yells out and runs up to Happy and I "lets fight!" She's grinning playfully, with a fist in the air.

I fist punch the air "hell ya let's do it!"

Not noticing the whispers coming form those around us that heard. We go to a meadow that's covered in flowers. The same place Lucy likes to come and read sometimes.

"I've got outfits that help with magic power from the celestial world. I wanna try em out!" She spouts with a smile.

"Alright Luce!" I burn my bangs up outta my eyes with a grin. "Let's play!" We go through all her outfit changes testing them out saving Leo's Star Dress for last.

Damn lucy looks good in that black dress I think as Loke (Leo the lion) walks up to me. "Long time there Natsu!" He smiles pushing up his glasses.

"How's it go?" I ask. As Lucy's checking herself out before we test out its limits.

"Like the outfit huh!" Loke winks at me as he disappears.

"Y-yeah" I stuttered slightly. Damn didn't know he noticed me looking, I shrugged.

Few seconds later Luce and I are head to head. She uses her whip to catch me by the arm and I pull her to me. I love a fight! But I'm getting ready to head for training.. knowing it'll be hard to tell her she isn't coming. I just want to get some time with her.
