I wake up a while later to find Joey gone and a typed up report on my desk. Just then mom comes in.
"Shane lee?" She asks a sweet tone in her voice i would never tell mama but I like mom a lot better mom his a red haired woman who has a face that seems worn but happy and she always has a smile on her face even when mama yells at her.
"Yes mom?" I reposed a bit groggily.
"It's dinner time love." She said with her award winning smile.
"Ok" I respond back giving her a smile of my own.
She quickly runs down stairs with me in tow when we reach the Dining room I see mama my sister Bria and her girlfriend Chrissy.
"WHAT TOOK YA SO LONG CHICKEN MICNIGGLET !!!" Mama practically yelled, you see mamas a big woman and is quite the opposite of mom she yells a lot but I know she loves me.
"Sorry mama I was doing homework with Joey." I said not sounding very happy.
WELLL I HOPE HOMEWORK WAS ALLL YA DOIN CHICKADEE!" She said laughing as she pinches my cheek.
Bria and Chrissy shared a look I had a feeling I knew what that meant.
We ate mostly in silence mom had made chicken and mama was eating most of it as Bria was talking about applying for college. I did not have to worry about college because mom and mama had a deal with joeys dads that if they had their sons get married they would both get great riches if they only knew...
"SHANE!!!" Mama shouted snapping me out of my daze.
"Yes mama?" I asked.
"YOU LITTLE NUGGET HAVE NOT GOTTON TOOO THE BABY MAKIN WITH JOEY YET!" She practically shouted so the whole town could here.
"I-i don't LOVE HIM." I shouted shocked with myself.
"Now your just being silly shane of corse you love Joey." Bria said patting me on the back.
"Oh the joys of teenage hood." Chrissy Said laughing
"SHANE LEE YAW GET YOUR SORRY BUTT UP TO YOUR ROOM TILL YOU ARE READY TO LET JOEY GO UP YOU!" Mama said pointing a finger at me.
"Now shanna don't tell him off like that." Mom said rubbing mamas back.
Before mama can yell at me more I run to my room slam the door and fall on bed. Tomorrow I'll fix everything but not know.
