danger comes and goes

I leave a note for Tobias and then I sneek out of the room.

Tobias's pov

I wake up and Tris's side of the bed is bare. I imediately shoot straight up. I look everywhere, but i can't find her. As i am about to leave the room to look some place else,  find a note. It reads;

Dear Tobias,

  I am so sorry. But, you know that I have to do this. If I come back alive I hope that you will take me back, if not I will have to live with my mistake. I  have to try and save charlie. Maybe I can even shut down the program controlling Matthew. Wish me luck, or not. If you love me, you will do what you truly know in oyur heart what is right.

Tris's pov

I reach Erudite headquarters and I search all the rooms until I find the one with Charlie and Jeanine in it. 'Well, hello Tris. This is your son isn't it." Jeanine injects a syringe with a clear liquid. It's the death serum. Charlie just died. I let out a blood curdling scream. i run knowing there is nothing i could do.

Time lapse

I reach Dauntless headquarters. I run to Tobias and I's room. i can't find him. I run to the cafeteria and i see everyone there eaing Dauntless cake. they all stop eating and they stare at me. The girls run up and hug me, but the boys stay there. I am guessing they took Tobia's side. The girls notice me tears but even though i know the boys see them, they pretend not too.

I run to Tobias. "Look i know you said yoou would't take me back, but....'' I choke up on tears but i push them back. "...I need you. I just saw Charlie die and there was nothing i could do about it!" The room goes silent and Tobias looks up at me.
