The Mysterious Cupid

Another day dawned for Keitaro, Paruru, and Mutsume as they approached the gates of Tokyo University. However, something felt off. Both Keitaro and Paruru had the distinct impression that everyone was staring at them.

Suddenly, Mutsume dashed in front of them, holding up the university newspaper. The headline caught their attention:

"Todai's Centennial Couple for the Academic Year 2018 - 2021!"

Paruru and Keitaro: "What the heck?!"

Paruru scanned the paper and spotted a familiar name in the byline. Without hesitation, she headed straight for the university newspaper office to confront the editor-in-chief.

Paruru: "Senpai! What is this?!"

Acchan: "Oh, hi Paruru. I see you've already seen the news!"

It was Maeda Atsuko, the editor-in-chief of Todai's newspaper, and a third-year journalism student.

Paruru: "What's with the 'centennial couple' for the academic year?"

Acchan: "It's a tradition here at Tokyo University. We select a couple each academic year, follow their journey, and document it until they graduate and get married."

Paruru: "Why 'centennial'?"

Acchan: "Well, you're the 100th couple we've featured!"

Paruru: "But we're not a couple; we're just friends! Can you change this?"

Acchan: "Sorry, kiddo! What's done is done. Plus, I can spot a couple when I see one!"

Defeated, Paruru walked out of the publishing office. She and Keitaro would now have to face the fact that they were officially recognized as the university's couple for that academic year.

That afternoon at the Hinata dorm, everyone was buzzing with excitement over the newspaper, particularly the feature on the so-called couple. Jurina was having the time of her life teasing Paruru about the article.

In the manager's room, Keitaro read his copy of the paper. He couldn't help but entertain the idea of him and Paruru as a couple.
