"Chris, can you hear me. Everything is going to be OK. Give me a sign if you are." I heard a woman's voice say. Black, that's all I could see. Nothing. I tried to call out to mum to tell her that I was OK but nothing left my mouth.

"Don't worry son an ambulance is on its way" dad said to me fear in his voice. I cant go to a hospital, i thought, they will run tests and I'm not completely human. I tried to move; concentrating on wiggling my fingers or toes to try and wake me up. I heard mum scream and then i saw her face, shining with tears. She wrapped her arms around my neck, sobbing even more. Dad ran in, worry covering his face. He walked over to mum and put his hand on her shoulder and then looked at me. Next thing i knew he was hugging me as well. Crying, hugging, laughing all happening at the same time. We stayed like that for ages. Non of us wanting to move.

The next day, Elliot wouldn't look at me. Was I that bad a kisser? I was walking to chemistry when I saw her walking in front of me. I walked a bit quicker and grabbed the hand that was by her side. She looked at our hands then looked at me. There was pain in her eyes. Fear as well.

"What are you doing?" she whispered to me but kept walking. I was so confused. She must have seen it on my face as she pushed me into the janitors closet.

"I'm not that bad a kisser, I'm I?" I asked. She looked at me amused.

"No, you are an excellent kisser. But the problem is that my pack don't want me anywhere near you." she said very quickly. I looked into her gorgeous hazelnut eyes. She looked so pretty, but shy at the same time. I could have kissed her right then and there if she hadn't woken me up from my day dream. She wrapped her arms round my neck and kissed me then whispered

"But I can't bring myself to doing that!"
