The Desire (Hayes Grier fanfic)

Chapter 1

"Elizabeth, we need to leave in 15 minutes and you still havent eaten breakfeast! Hurry up!"

my mom exclaimed.

  Today was the first day of school after summer break. Its not really important to me because its the same as any other day. I decided to wear skinnies from Hollister, a burgundy sweater, black hightop converse and straightened my hair. Nothing fancy. I met my bestfriend, Anna, in the front of the school.

  Anna was really the only person who really knows what i've been through and she understands me. She was there for me, always. Anna and I became friends when Hayes left. That was the one of the worst things I've been through. Hayes was my bestfriend all through elementary, but when we got into middle school he drifted away. Then i had no one. And to add on to all of that my mom and dad got a divorce 1 week after Hayes left. Now im where im at now. Being a nobody.

We walked to my locker first. "Liz, quit worrying about Hayes. Its been 3 years. You need to quit thinking about him." Anna said.

"How do you know im thinking about him?"

"Liz, I've known you for 4 years, I can tell when you think about him because everytime you do you have the same look on your face."

I think about Hayes alot and starting school makes it worse because i see him alot. I put in my locker combination and put my stuff away. As soon as I shut my locker Hayes walked up to his locker that was 3 down from mine. Great could this school year get any better. Anna put her stuff in her locker then walked to Homeroom. We had 2nd, 4th, and 7th together.

I got to Homeroom and sat next to Emily. We arent the closest of friends, but we talk sometimes. Then Hayes walks in. Ha. This is gonna be the best 8th grade year ever. Sarcasticly said. He sat towards the front of the class, i was in the back. Hayes is in my 1st, 3rd, 4th, 7th, and 8th. I alreqdy knew this year was gonna be bad, but now its even worse.
