Luke
You were sure, you were pregnant, you couldn't believe it. Unsure of how to react you stared at the twelve pregnancy tests balancing around the sink counter that you had taken today.
Who would you tell first? Your Mom? Your best friend? Or your boyfriend Luke?
As if he knew what you were thinking you heard your phone start ringing from in the next room, Luke was trying to face time you. You couldn't tell him, not yet, you'd only been dating for just over a year, the last time you saw him was for your one year anniversary, two months ago, could you really tell him he was going to be a Dad over the phone?
You picked up the phone your hand shaking nervously, a sickly feeling began rising up your throat, whether it was due to how scared you were to talk to Luke or because of the pregnancy you were unsure, maybe it was both.
"Hey how's my girl?" Luke chirped, his happiness shown through his large smile.
It was the worst possible question that he could ask, you couldn't describe how you were feeling when you didn't even know yourself. "Hi, I'm great thanks how are you? Is Switzerland good?" You blurted out panicking nearly dropping your phone.
Luke and the boys were touring Europe and had arrived in Switzerland yesterday, Luke told you that he would call you before the thirty eighth show out of the seventy six booked for the European tour so you could catch up.
"Woah one question at a time Y/N." He laughed at himself, so you awkwardly laughed with him, failing to keep up your facade. "Y/N, what's wrong? You're usually stoked when we face time."
You couldn't stop the tears that had been brewing in your eyes from flowing as you broke down crying.
"Y/N what's wrong, tell me please, please I want to help." Luke pleaded as he walked away from the noise of the tour bus to somewhere quieter.
"You can't help though can you Luke? You're halfway across the world, what could you possibly do?" You became angry at him for not being here when you needed him the most. The happiness that covered Luke's face just seconds ago had disappeared, sadness and self disappointment radiated from his features.
"I'm so sorry, I'm so sorry." His voice broke. "I'll take the first plane to Australia and postpone the tour, everything will-" You felt guilty for making him feel like a bad partner.
"Luke just shut up." You had to tell him now, you had no other choice. Composing yourself you stood up and walked into the bathroom, you turned the camera around showing Luke the pregnancy tests as you said steadily, "I'd been suspicious for the past few days, but as you can see these tests prove my conspiracy." You turned the camera back to face you, you tired to look for some sort of hint of how Luke was feeling but he stared at you his eyebrows frowned, deep creases between them.
Oh god. He's not ready, hell you're not even ready. You've blown it with him, screwed everything up like you usually do. You started crying again, worse than before, you placed your phone on the side leaving face time on so you could wipe away the tears.
Quiet shouts and screaming came through the speakers on your phone. You immediately picked it back up to see if Luke was thrashing out about what you had just told him.
Instead you saw Ashton's face grinning at you, "Ashton? Where's Luke? Is he ok?" You asked concerned for his well being.
"HEY CONGRATULATIONS MAN!" You heard Calum shout in the background along with Michael's hysterical laughing.
"Don't worry, he's great, he's just telling Liz." Ashton kept smiling, comforting you. Liz had joined the boys on tour for a couple of shows and would have been on the tour bus with them, of course Luke would go and tell her right away. "Y/N I'm so happy for you two, I really am." Ashton was interrupted by Luke grabbing his phone back, he had tears in his eyes as he smiled brighter than you'd ever seen before.
