on my way to school I stopped at roast and toast to get coffee like I always did. I was a freshman this year which made high school even harder than it already was. I didn't care how many other freshman picked on me but having all of the other grades doing it too was kind of overwhelming. I didn't care what they thought though. when the high school came into sight I stopped closing my eyes trying to relax. I calmly walked across the road and onto the school yard. people already started pointing and laughing and I wasn't even there for a whole minute. I entered the school heading to my first hour class without going to my locker. I never went to my locker it was a waste of time to me. I carried my bag into the classroom sitting down in the back corner again. I watched the kids poor into the school when the bell rang. every one was chatting and texting on their phones. when the second bell rang and people entered the classroom I just shook my head wishing I could disappear. I was still listening to music but not for long. when Mr. Walsh my English teacher came in I had to turn off my phone and slide it in my bag. "alright class I have an announcement." he spoke cheerfully. the other students chattered among themselves contemplating on what it was. "we have a new student in our class." I glanced up from the floor as soon as a boy with blonde hair entered the room. he didn't really look around as every one clapped he just took the seat right next to me. it was the only seat that was empty of course. I turned to the window when the welcome was over besides he was only a new student and he would turn out just like the other students. so Mr Walsh handed out the assignments for today and I went on like I normally did.
