It was my first day at a new school, my parents moved us here from Dublin. Before classes start I'm standing by my locker with two of my mates I met on vacation here a few years back. A boy with blonde hair and stunning green eyes walks past us and catches my attention.
"Hey Andy who's he?"
"That he you're talking about would be Brooklyn Wyatt"
"Wait Jack you don't already have a crush do you"
Mikey teased he knows me well and I guess it is a bit soon to like him seeing as he doesn't know I exist.
"Awww Jack has a crush"
"Shut up I gotta get to class"
I said and we all parted ways. I had seventh period science which I was dreading until I walked in and saw The green eyed boy was in my class. Our teacher introduced me as the new kid from Dublin which wasn't my favorite thing but he quickly moved on and started to talk about some project. I zoned out until I realized Brooklyn was walking towards me.
"Hey you're Jack right?"
"Uh..um..Yea and you are"
dammit I already sound dumb way to go Jack.
"I'm Brook so there's this group project thing going on wanna work together?"
oh my...he wants to work with me. Play it cool Jack
"Yeah that sounds good"
"So Jack you're from Dublin, did you like it?"
" I mean it's a nice place to–" I got cut off by the bell Brook seems nice
"I'll see you around Jack from Dublin"
"Yeah you too Brook"
Brooklyn wants to see me again Andy and Mikey are gonna flip when they find out. London may not be so bad after all.
