(Hi, this is my first fanfic so if I get any facts wrong, please don't hate me. I hope you enjoy!)

Clarke P.O.V.

I was in solitary on a giant spaceship called "The Ark"  A.K.A. hell. My father was floated for saying too much, he tried to warn everyone that The Ark is dying.
Because it is.
We are running out of oxygen and at this point, we probably only have a few months left before we all die. But anyway, the reason we're all in space right now is that the world ended 97 years ago, and due to the radiation we can't go back yet.
I don't have much to do in the damn prison so I just draw.
I love to draw.
I've covered most of the walls with random drawings and sketches so I'm drawing on the floor. I'm drawing a forest at night, or at least what I think those look like. I've never seen one, I've only read about them.
My peace, quiet and thoughts were disturbed by guards barging into my room.

"Turn around." one of them said.
I did as they said and turned to stare at my back wall.

"Give me your wrist." the other demanded as he pulled out some sort of wristband.

"Wait, no. I-I don't turn eighteen for another month!" I said in fear.

Are they going to float me? I thought as soon as thought set in, so did the fear.

They grabbed my wrist and tried to take off my watch.
My fathers watch.
My dead fathers watch.
I immediately pried my wrist away.

"Take off your watch." the first on said.

"No, it was my fathers!"

They tried to grab me again, but I elbowed one the stomach an kicked the other in the nuts. As one was struggling to breathe and the other was on the ground, clearly in a lot of pain from the blow I gave him. I realized the door was wide open.
Immediately I ran out and looked around. Everyone was being taken out of their cells with wristbands on.

"Prisoner 319, get back here!" yelled a guard to my left.

I tried to make a break for it, but there were just as many guards to my right as there to my left.

"Wait!"

I heard my mom, Abby, say from my left, I turned my body to face at her as fast as I could.

"Mom?!" I called back. She ran up and gave me a hug. I, of course, hugged her back. I missed her so much.

As we pulled away from each other I asked,
"What's going on?"
My mother looked me dead in the eyes and said.
"You're being sent to the ground."
I looked at her with shock and confusion in my eyes.
Is it safe? I thought
Or are they just buying themselves more time?
"What?" was all that came out of my mouth my mother gave me another hug.

"It's going to be ok, Clarke," she said.

I then felt a dart go into my back, and as I slowly fell unconscious, I heard my mother say
"Earth, Clarke. You get to go to Earth."

(Once again, don't hate me! And don't worry I'll try to make sure they meet in the next chapter!)
