Quick note before we begin: The way I write this will be a little different. I'm deciding to still do the journal entry thing, but it will be in Third Person Omniscient. For those of you who aren't English nerds, that means it's written from a "God" point of view, and you know all of the characters, thoughts, feelings, emotions, and actions. I'll also be using the past tense, unlike Revenge of 28, where I used the present tense. Just so ya'll know ;) Now enough with the boring English lesson! I hope you enjoy Deadly Friendships!

It was Friday the 13th in a snowy New York City. Few people were on the sidewalks in the chilly morning, and the streets were jam-packed with honking cars, their headlights illuminating the falling snow. Inside of the FBI Headquarters, the atmosphere was much warmer. The smell of freshly-brewed coffee filled the air around steaming mugs, and snow-covered jackets and snow-caked boots sat beside the entrance. It was a generally slow day for everyone, which allowed the detectives, lab technicians, and other workers to slack off some.

From the entrance walked in a woman with long, blond hair, which was mostly hidden under a grey beanie, who sported blue-grey eyes. She was accompanied by a man, with curly light brown hair and blue-grey eyes. They were laughing as they hung up their coats and scarfs on the provided coat rack.

“Morning lovebirds,” A younger woman, with curly light brown hair and hazel eyes, greeted the man and woman from her desk. The woman smiled and replied,

“Hello Davissen. Anything new?” Avalon Davissen shook her head, and took a sip from the steaming mug sitting on her desk. Maxwell Stringer, the man who accompanied the woman, gave her a kiss on the cheek before heading to the elevator. The woman, who went by the name of Rae West, walked over to her desk and sat down.

“There’s nothing ever going on during the winter. It’s so boring around here!” Another woman said as she walked out of the elevator, holding a Starbucks cup. She was also on the younger side, with tan skin, dark brown wavy hair, and deep, chocolaty eyes. She spoke with a slight Brazilian accent, since she had moved to New York from Brazil when she was 8 years old.

“I agree Keila. Winter is always so slow,” Avalon sighed out of boredom. The office was silent after that, except for the clicking from keyboards and the occasional phone ringing.

“Hey ladies, I have some good news for you.” A man with dark brown hair and light blue eyes stepped out of the elevator. Rae, Avalon, and Keila perked up at his comment.

“There’s been a murder.”

“Body was found by a worker at 10:40 this morning. Approximate time of death was 9 PM yesterday.” Back in their winter attire, Keila and Avalon, accompanied by Max Stringer and Travis Blake, who was notified of the case, were standing in front of an old building, which was scheduled to be demolished at 11 this morning. The police officer who was called to the site led the four FBI agents to the scene of the crime. The victim was a woman, who was bound by the wrists and ankles and was hung from the weak ceiling.

“There is bruising around the neck, which is most likely caused by the ropes suspending her above the ground,” Max stated, examining the body.

“Who found the body?” Keila asked the police officer. He pointed to a burly man of middle age, who was sitting down on a broken beam, clearly scared of his findings. Keila nodded and went over to the man to question him.
