I knocked on the wooden door. "Ben? It's (Y/N)!" I yelled through the door. I heard the knob squeak, and turn, opening the door. The rounder boy stood in the door. "Oh, hey!" He shuffled around. "I wasn't, expecting company."

He opened the door and let me and Eddie in. Eddie gave him a small wave, Ben smiled. "So Ben, I'm new to this town. I have a couple questions." I said walking towards the stairs. "Oh...Y-Yea! Follow me." He said sliding past me, up his wooden stairs.

I followed behind him, looking around at my surroundings. Family pictures, plants, all that regular family shit. He opens the door and shuts it behind him. Eddie seems mesmerized by all the books Ben owned. I turn around to look at him.  Above his head was a "New Kids On The Block" poster. I giggled a bit as he motioned "Shh" and blushed a bit.

I cleared my throats and smiled. "Anyway, Ben." I walked over to an opened book. The title read "History of Derry", a couple pictures of shops opening, elections, and...that building.

I whipped my head around, and pushed my finger on the picture. "Ben. What was that." I asked in a stern voice. "Huh?" He walked towards me and loomed over the book. His eyes widened. "Ben. What do you know?" Eddie soon was looking too.

"That old creepy ass house?" Eddie said inspecting the photo. "Yea, the one where you feel like your being watched when you walk past it?" I said, they both nodded. "Read." Ben pointed.

I let my eyes fall down to the articles. The ink on the old paper was preserved, just as the towns horrors. I couldn't look away. The more I read, the more I felt the dead leaning on my back. I could hear and feel the screams all at once. I flipped the page. The screams got louder. Again and again I flipped through, louder and louder the cries for help grew. A picture of a dead man seemed to stare at me, and before I knew it, the dead mans hand was reaching out to grab me.

"NO!" I screamed myself, slamming the book shut, and throwing it on the ground. "No! No! NO!" I held my hands over my hears, the screams making them bleed. I fell to the floor, tense.

"(Y/N)!" Ben yelled trying to make me snap out of it. But his scream added to the others. Eddie panicking, shook me. When that didn't work he slapped me.

The screams stopped. I was panting now, blood draining from my ears. I stared at the book. "T-They..." I stuttered. Ben hugged me. "Are you OK?" He asked worried. He looked at my ears. "What the..." he wiped up a little blood with his finger. "They were screaming..." I finally said.

Eddie and Ben both looked confused. "The... people were screaming for help..." Ben looked over at the book. "The people who had...died?" He asked, trying to get some answers. I nodded.

Ben walked over to the book, and picked it up. He opened a drawer and threw it in and slammed it shut. "No more." Ben said smiling. I got up to hug him. He hugged back. "Thanks." I whispered. "Where's my hug?" Eddie said pouting. I opened my arms up and motioned him in. He laughed and joined the hug.

"This is kinda like a fucked up family." I laughed wiping the tears from my eyes. "Yea I guess so." Ben agreed.

I slipped away from the hug. "Ben... A lot of crazy shit...has been happening..." I said wiping my nose "Am i going fucking crazy"

Eddie started rubbing my back gently. "(Y/N)..." he looked me in the eye. "Your...not the only one..."

i gave him a look of confusion. "When...when I was...walking home..." he started his story. "I was walking past that house... And my timer went off, just as I was at eye level with the door." he scratched his arm.

"T-the door opened...and...I swear i heard...something saying my name..." he stared out the window. "But I started to walk, and I was getting them out and, I spilled them everywhere." He explained. "But...as I was picking them up..." he shivered. "There was this...this disgusting...rotting...thing...staring me right straight in the eyes."

"I ran in the past the house to the backyard and...when I turned around..." It seemed like he hated thinking about it. "You saw a clown, didn't you?" I cut him off. He stared at me somewhat surprised, and nodded. "When I walking past that house, I felt like I someone was watching me. I turned around and I saw... a clown." I shivered myself.

"So I'm not going crazy?" He said. "Heh, maybe we both are." I laughed. Ben seemed to be interested. "We all are, I was chased by a headless man at the library, and next thing you know, it was a clown." He said. "What is wrong with this town." I laughed.

"Old." Ben laughed, Eddie joined him.

I walked into Henry's driveway, his dad's car wasn't there. So I decided that it was safe to come in. I stepped on the porch and opened the door. I opened the door, and slowly stepped in. I quietly shut the door, and slid my shoes off. Before I knew it, my back was against the door. "Henry?" I said calmly. "Your late." Henry said in a deep voice, sternly.

I looked down at my phone. "8:34, damn your right..." I looked up at him. He pulled me into a hug, a tight loving hug. "You fuckin' scared me."  He said into my shoulder. "Don't worry, I can fend for myself." I said hugging him back. Honestly, on the inside, all I wanted to do was  tell him I needed him, and that I wanted him to protect me, but I chose to stay strong like I always have.

He pulled away slowly. His eyes seemed a little puffy. I furrowed my eyebrows and put my hand on his cheek, and caressed it. "Henry... Is something wrong?" I asked sincerely.

"Im fine." he said, putting his tough persona back on. Without thinking, I leaned into his face and kissed him, soft and sweet.

His lips were tough and a bit cracked, but still sweet tasting. He immediately kissed back, like he had been wanting this forever. I pulled away slowly.

"Henry I..." he cut me off, "I love you too (Y/N)." he whispered.
