Lucifer quickly spun around to the sound of his child crying. He spotted Celeste holding the little crying child in her arms. The baby was covered in blood and screaming it's head off. Lucifer quickly ran over to Celeste's side.
"I was right," Celeste told Lucifer quietly with a smile on her face while she tried to quiet down the child. She began to rock the child and the baby stopped crying.
"About what?" Lucifer questioned her.
"She is a girl," Celeste said with a proud smile on her face.
"Oh," Lucifer said back. He too was smiling even though he was wrong. Celeste began to shut her eyes since she was so tired from the birth of the powerful child.
"Let me take her and get all this blood off," Lucifer said holding out his hands for Celeste to hand the baby to him. She carefully set the baby in his hands and smiled at the sight of Lucifer holding a little baby. She then went back to resting, still thinking about the adorable pair.
Lucifer carefully admired the little child. He held her close to his chest and brought her to the little bathroom across the hall. He turned the water on in the sink to a warm temperature and filled it halfway. He carefully set the child in the water and used a washcloth to clean her.
He reached under the cabinet and grabbed a nappy, but when he turned around the child had grown from a newborn to that of the size of a 2 month old baby.
"Oh sweet girl you are growing so fast," Lucifer said to his daughter quietly.
He reached under the cabinet and got a different size nappy and put it on the little girl. He put on a pink outfit on her and little white socks.
"What shall we name you?" He questioned the little girl.
"Luci? No, your mommy wouldn't like that," he smirked at the though of Celeste's reaction to that name.
"Adeline? No, that doesn't fit you."
"Rosemary? No," The little girls eyes glowed a blue color while her father talked to her sweetly. He picked her up and began to softly bounce her around to get her to fall asleep.
"Seraphina? I like that one," he told the little girl with a smile on his face. Only the little child has ever seen him be so kind. Celeste has not even seen him be so kind. That is how he wanted to keep it.
He kissed the child on the head and began to rock her. She quickly fell asleep on his shoulder. He brought her into the nursery and gently laid her down in her crib. He laid a blanket on her and walked out of the room to go check on Celeste.
When he entered the room Celeste was in, he could hear the sound of her gentle breaths. He went over to the bed and sat besides her. He gently brushed her hair out of her face. She stirred a little bit then opened her eyes slowly.
"How are you feeling?" He questioned her.
"Fine, my body is healing very quickly I'm just a bit tired."
"Good. What do you think about the name Seraphina?"
"I love that name actually!" Celeste said with joy.
"You came up with that by yourself?" Celeste questioned him with a smile on her face.
"Actually, I did," Lucifer responded with a proud smile.
"Seraphina," Celeste whispered testing out the name.
"Seraphina."
