Jin's POV
Ring!
Ring!
Ring!
I stir awake when I hear my phone ring but I'm too tired to get up and answer it. Whoever it is can just call back later.
Ring!
Ring!
Ring!
Ugh! I just want to sleep.
I roll over to my right side and grab my phone on the night stand. Without even checking the caller I.D. I answer the call with a muffled, "Hello?"
"Is that anyway to answer the phone when you're talking to your father?" His voice immediately wakes me up and I sit up straight not even thinking about anything or anyone around me.
"F-Father? Why are you calling?" Why did I stutter? I need to pull myself together.
Why would he be calling now out of all these years. The last time I heard and some him was such a long time ago, since I graduated high school to be exact, and he left me unsupported and told me to fetch my stupid dream all on my own but now he calls. For what? All I know is I'm not going to fall for whatever he says and I don't even want to listen to anything he says.
"Can a father not call his son without being questioned?" I scoff at his stupid question, is he seriously going to act like this?
"No he can't, especially when he disowned him." He laughs at my statement as if it was something to laugh about, as if we were close. Which we most certainly weren't. "What do you want?" I ask, wanting to end the phone call right this moment.
"Well my company has really grown and your brother is going to be getting marr-"
"Then he should be perfect for taking over the company." I cut him off, now knowing what his intentions were for calling me. I'm never going to take over that company, no matter what he says. I have finally found the things I love and I'm not going to let it go anytime soon.
"My company has grown big enough to have my own branch in America. He's going to be going there to be the CEO of that branch once he gets married. So I need someone to take over the company here." Is he serious after everything he's done he thinks that he can just ask me to be the CEO just like that and I was going to accept, well he's wrong.
