What Came Over Me?

Day Two

It's been a solid two years since I've started working here- and I can't deny it. I'm in love, but the worst part is...the one I love, I can't have.

"Coffee?" Kaiyla offered to her boss, smiling. "Thank you..." He mumbled out, focusing on his laptop. She walked out, going to check on her friend. Slipping behind Savannah, she looked at her work from over her shoulder. "Who's that?" Kaiyla hummed out- staring at the boy in her picture. Savannah slammed shut her book- looking at the older. "No one..." "Are you sure? Because it looks a lot like-" "Shhh!!" Savannah shushed her friend- earning a giggle. "Dont worry, I won't expose you....yet." "Yet?" Savannahs brow raised, faltering. She smiled at her friend- happy that even though it was the fifth day, they had made work friends and got accepted in the first place. "So...how are you and that curly haired boy?" Kaiyla leaned against the wall, staring at Savannah. "Well...I'm interested. Scared to admit it, but I am....in the receptionist too." "My God Savannah," Kaiyla jokingly laughed out. "Mark is the cutest thing...he's the most innocent and naive boy I've ever met. I love him mom- can we keep him?" Savannah looked up at the elder- as if asking to keep a puppy. "I'll think about it~" Kaiyla smiled. "What about...you and the big man...Jungwoo?~" Savannah wiggled her eyebrows.

"What about...me...and Jungwoo?" Kaiyla thought, after stepping out of the room. Coincidentally enough, her boss called her in. "I'm just his secretary...nothing more, nothing less." Kaiyla nodded to herself, before stepping into the room of her boss. "Mr. Kim-" "--Do you think you can just mingle around with girls?" Jungwoo didnt even notice Kaiyla, who was in the corner watching. "N-no sir." The man sitting in front of his desk stuttered. "Pathetic. Get out of my office and pack your stuff." The man nodded, face red and dignity gone. Kaiyla stepped out into the light, bowing to Jungwoo. "I'm sorry- I just got here." Jungwoo turned a light pink- he didnt want to let her see this side of him. "No need to bow..." He barely choked out, utterly amazed by her. Kaiyla looked up- getting the shock of her life.
