The Maverick Predator Unit roster was a nostalgic sight for some, 

X: A former B-Class Hunter who after enduring countless trials and tribulations throughout his service; has found that no matter how hard he tries, provided that any trace of Sigma left throughout the world can and always will return to Reploidkind, destroying X's work and all he strived to protect, he fights hard, and his will fights even more so. After proving himself on too many occasions to count, X leads the M.P.U Fireteam as its Fireteam Leader, utilizing his usual X-Buster whilst keeping a Twin-ZI Assault Rifle handy.

Zero: The most Infamous of Maverick Hunters, Zero is the top of the S-Class rated reploids, he has been the mentor of X for as long as they've been together, due to the now relatively risky nature of having to use his Z-Saber against the Zaverick reploids, he has resorted to keeping by one of the more intriguing rifles designed for use by the M.P.U; a Firefly-ZB Assault Rifle. Zero's past holds many regrets, but as the brave soul, he is, Zero has never given in involuntarily to the Sigma Virus, and he won't start now.

Alia: Currently a dispatcher for the Maverick Hunters, and now being assigned a place as the M.P.U's dispatcher and Predator, she is an efficient and naturally collected individual, she shows her genuine care and worries for the Hunters, but she also knows full well that X and Zero are perfectly capable of handling themselves just fine, after all, she witnessed them save the world more than once. Alia utilizes the Marksman-ZO Optical Rifle as her abilities primarily lie within making sure the Hunters watch themselves, if any slip-up, she's there with the weapon in hand, ready to cover for the team.

Layer: This Reploid Dispatcher is the secondary specialist for X and Zero respectively, somewhat of an introvert in some regards, her interesting choice of plating makes for some rather awkward conversations, regardless, she acts as another Predator in times of crisis, utilizing the rather equally questionable Jericho-ZG Gattling Gun. None of the M.P.U knows why she chose this as her style of weapon, but frankly, Layer's handled it surprisingly well, don't underestimate minority Reploids Y'all!

Pallette: The Final Dispatcher for the M.P.U, Pallette is a quirky gal, who doubles up as the Research & Development Reploid Supervisor. She has more sass than Layer actually utters, and she much prefers the comfort of the R&D lab as opposed to out in the field, regardless, she utilizes the Iron-ZP Ray Gun. Not particularly effective against mass hordes of enemies, but it's for self-defence, and 90% of the time, Zero's with her anyway, so she's got her own perks too.
