Third [POV]

"Sorry, I couldn't pay for the donuts.." She looked over her shoulder staring at the blue-eyed boy her lips curled into a smile. "Oh shut your mouth!" She laughed grabbing the door handle and opening the door.

"I paid for the food.. You drove me home. Let's count it as fair." Daniel shook his head. "We'll see about that.." She rolled her eyes shutting his car door. She looked up at her house thinking that donuts would cheer up the blonde boy inside.

"I'm going to go see how Corbyn's doing.." She walked up the driveway towards the door turning back to see her blue-eyed friend waving her goodbye.

"See you later Amelia!" He yelled through his opened window pulling out of her driveway. She waved back at him with a smile plastered on her face opening the door to her house. She walked into her house hoping to see the blonde Corbyn hop down the stairs. When the only place she didn't look was her room she knew something was up.

"Corbyn..?" She whispered his name walking to her room, looking towards her bed she saw his phone face down over her messed-up sheets. She sighed leaving his phone on the bed knowing where he was.

She pushed open her balcony doors walking onto the bridge to her and Corbyn's tree-house they had made as kids. She walked onto the landing of their fort seeing the blonde-haired boy sitting with his legs stretch out across the floorboards air pods in his ears, his eyes closed.

She gave a soft smile climbing into the room, she sat by his side taking out one of his airpods. "What's wrong..?' She asked quietly looking at the ground as soon as he looked towards her. She heard him sigh but he stayed quiet. "I know you feel out of place sometimes but I wanted to let you know I'm always here for you.."

She looked back up at him now grabbing his hand and putting it in hers. "I'm sorry if I embarrassed you with Grayson last night I just-" Corbyn shook his head. "Grayson is a jerk.. I just don't want you getting hurt.."

Amelia looked into his eyes confusion fogging her mind. "What..?" Corbyn looked towards her a faint smile on his face. "I saw the way you were looking at each other last night.."She shook her head laughing. "First off he is genuinely not my type. I was just staring at him trying to figure why you- a sweet boy would hang out with such a dick."

"Really?" She nodded staring off through the window. "Lia.." She turned back to him as he stared down into her eyes, she felt her heartbeat in her throat hearing random words popping into her head.

is this our moment? Wait for what.. What moment? She suddenly got caught up in her own thoughts not hearing Corbyn's words. "Amelia!" He yelled waving his hand in her face. "Huh?!" She asked confused.

Corbyn opened his mouth looking away but decided to close it, with a huff. "Let's go." The blonde picked himself up off the slightly dusted treehouse floor, turning to hold out his hand.

"Promise me you will never change? "

Amelia looked over at him a small smirk appearing across her face, as she grabbed his hand. "I won't. No one can annoy you like me." Corbyn smiled back at her.

"We do have a party to get ready for.. don't we?" Corbyn said as he helped the short girl up to her feet sending the same smirk back. "Yeah we do!" she gave a little laugh letting go of his hand.

Corbyn gave a bright smile while both of them looked out of the open door frame looking towards Amelia's house. "Beat ya there?" The blonde gave her a huff stuffing his hands in his pockets for dramatic effect. "In your dreams.."
