The young man sat behind a rock that was just 500 metres away from the building. He stared intently at the window, watching the shadows that occasionally passed.

"A month and nothing." He muttered to himself. Whatever the orphanage was hiding, they were hiding well. He'd tried every trick from merging in with the workers to even bribing them to tell him. But there didn't seem to be a single crack in their defence.

This was his last chance

He knew that if he didn't find out anything soon, everything that had been done prior to this would have been for nothing. It was now or never. So he had to break in.

The sun had set and all was dark. There were no movements inside the orphanage and everyone seemed to be sleeping. But he still had to be careful. It already was a miracle that he had made it inside.

Slowly moving through the corridors, trying not to make any unneeded movements. Reaching the door, he pushed it open slightly, just enough so that he could look inside.

His eyes widened, horrified at the sight in front of him.

Lying on the floor, shivering from the cold drafts of air coming through the cracks, a young boy. The boy's hair was masked by dirt. but peeking out was a brilliant yellow colour. But that's not what the man noticed.

Bruises running from his head to his feet, scars covering his arms. Blood on his shirt and skin so pale it was frightening. The man had to stop the urge to run over and help. He wanted to. But he couldn't. It would ruin the effort he had made to get inside.

The man slowly inched away from the door. He sighed and shut the door, turning around. And then everything went black.

The man shook his head. Lifting his head, he winced as he looked at the light in front of him.

"You're finally awake."

The man quickly turned his head, reaching for the gun on his waist. Except he couldn't move his arms. Looking down, he saw that he was tied to a chair. He looked once again at the man standing on his right."

"Don't panic. I won't kill you. Not until you tell me what you're doing here, Marco De Silano."
