"I've met all your cousins, right?" I asked Ethan as he drove to his place or like he called it; our place. I hadn't even seen it yet.

"Yeah but there's one you haven't met. She couldn't make it to the engagement." He answered and I nodded my head.

"She's the one who convinced me and Zayn to pick her up from college, actually. We were so annoyed by that but I ended up seeing you there. I guess I'm indebted to her now." He said, chuckling a little at the end. I chuckled too. "I'd love to meet this cousin of yours." I told him. And really, I was looking forward to meeting her. The rest of his cousins were very sweet and admirable people.

Ethan helped me out of his car once we arrived. I found it hard to close my mouth as I gazed at the spectacular sight in front of me in awe. "Y-you live here?" I asked Ethan in disbelief, awestruck.

He chuckled. "Yes and we shall live here together now." He said, intertwining our fingers together and walking me to the entrance. The place looked like a modern, luxurious castle.

"Good evening, Mr. and Mrs. Woods." A lady greeted us at the entrance before taking both our coats. Ethan and I stepped into his... castle, I would call it. I looked around in amazement. It was more wonderful than I had imagined it to be.

"Ethan!" A girl squealed excitedly before attacking Ethan with a hug, causing my hand to drop from his. Seeing her collapsed in Ethan's arms wasn't a very pleasing sight to me.

To my relief, she finally backed away and I mentally thanked God for that. She finally acknowledged my presence and stared at me, her face becoming deprived of any emotion. She looked back at Ethan, her smile reappearing. "Who's this?" She asked him sweetly.

Ethan pulled me close to him, putting his hand on my waistline. "This is my fiancé, Anastasia." He replied, grinning. I smiled seeing him smile. I couldn't help it. His smile was contagious.

"Nice to meet you." I said to her, sticking my hand forward for her to shake, though I still had no idea whom she was.

"This is Adeline, my cousin. The one I was telling you about in the car." Ethan informed me and my mouth formed an 'O'.

"It's a pleasure to meet you, Anastasia. It's a pity I was unable to attend your engagement." Adeline said, giving me a smile. I smiled back at her, taking in her features.

She had beautiful, long, wavy light brown hair that reached past her mid-back. She had striking features, her eyes sharp and bright, her nose perfectly sculpted, her complexion fair and glowing, her lips painted with a deep red colour. Her make up was totally on point. Her body was slim yet perfect. But despite her extreme beauty, there was something unsettling about her to me.

"Ana?" Adeline spoke and I blinked my eyes, snapping out of my trance and noticing that Ethan wasn't by my side anymore. Looking behind Adeline, I found him standing with Zayn, talking to a couple guys.

"Yes?" I smiled sweetly at Adeline.

"Wanna grab a drink?" She asked, turning.

"Uh...sure." I said hesitantly before following her.

"No, no, I won't have anything alcoholic." I told her as I saw her about to pour some wine.
