30. Pulled away from you

You turned around and searched for his body, but the only thing you felt was your blanket. You opened an eye and immediately sat up when you didn't saw him. "Jungkook?"

No answer.

"Was it just a dream?" You asked yourself. You pushed the covers away from you and walked down the hall to the showers. You had to prepare yourself for school.

You never hated school that bad. Usually you liked it, the school changed especially when Jungkook came to school. And especially the students there. Everyone behaves as if they already know everything and act like they are better than the others.

When you were done with showering, you put on your uniform and of course chose the pants because you feel more comfortable in them. You walked down the stairs but stopped when you heard Jungkook his familiar voice and also that of your brother.

So it wasn't a dream...

"Here are the names of the boys," Jungkook said. "Protect her."

"Of course," Namjoon said. "I'll just tell the police their names."

"No!" Jungkook suddenly shouted. "I've tried that for a long time, but they even have friends in the police. We have to destroy them from the inside out."

"And how do you want to do that when you're in jail?" Namjoon asked almost laughing. He still didn't trust Jungkook and you could hear that in his voice.

"They aren't the only ones with friends everywhere. And besides, Y/N does a great job. She showed me what she found about me on her laptop. She's a smart girl." You knew he had his 'genius smile' at that moment.

But... you didn't showed him anything on your laptop... was he on your laptop without you knowing it!?

At that moment you walked into the dining room. "Goodmorning!" You shouted happily.

Immediately you saw that Namjoon took a piece of paper off the table and stuffed it into his pocket.

You raised your eyebrow. "What's that?" You asked as if you didn't know. You only wanted to know who those names were. And if you recognized one of those names.

"That isn't your business." Namjoon replied angrily and stood up. He walked past you and you grabbed his arm.

"Are you mad at me?" You asked where his bad behavior came from.

He scanned your face. "You want me to be mad at you?"

"No..." You looked at the ground, regretting your question.

He pulled his arm out of your grip and you let him go. With a last look at Jungkook, he walked out of the house.

You watched Jungkook shrug his shoulders as if he didn't know what was going on. But you knew he had more secrets for you than you thought. And he prefers to share it with your brother than with you.

"How did you sleep baby?" He got up and walked over to you. He wrapped his arms around you and you leaned with your head against his chest.

"I love to sleep next to you," You hugged him back. "You breathing gives me peace, and your heartbeat against my ear feels like music." You confessed.

He kissed your head. "Something wrong?" He asked worriedly at your sad tone.

You shook your head. "I'm just glad I could experience that." You pulled away from him and looked at his beautiful face. You pecked his lips and then walked past him to eat breakfast. "Have you eaten yet?"

He looked at you for a moment, then shook his head. Then a smile slid across his face as he sat down next to you. You were smearing some bread with strawberries on it and sugar.
