"Who are you?"

The world started to spin out of focus.

I didn't dare look up, quickly turning to Jonah instead; who looked just mirrored my fear; his face white as empty clouds.

I gulped, feeling my throat close up and stop my breathing.

Calm down. Calm down. Speak. You look like an idiot

"Did you hear me? I asked: who are you?"

The class was filled with whispers and giggles now.

I managed to force my eyes up, to look directly at the cocky boy on the table.

"Olivia Jones." I said, it came out breathy and weak, not what I was going for, I cleared my throat and tried again.

"My name is Olivia Jones."

The boy narrowed his eyes; flicking them from Jonah to me.

"How long have you been at this school?"

His voice was like acid as it escaped his lips. I quickly turned to Jonah again, to see what I was to do.

Again, it was no help, he was frozen.

"1 year." I spoke blandly,a streak of rebellion in my trembling voice.

Apparently that caught everyone's attention, a few chairs turned around to face me. One of those chairs being Jesse's, I quickly looked at him, the suprise registered in his soulful eyes.

I quickly looked away and looked back to the King, but to my surprise he was shooting daggers at Jesse, a cold look in his eyes.

His tone of voice changed as he spoke "Did you do this? Is this your way of fighting against me? Hiding students so that they stay out of the hierarchy?" He laughed cruelly then abruptly stopped as Jesse spoke.

I gulped, hearing the calm drawl of his deep voice as he responded. "Believe it or not I am just as in the dark as you are, but I am impressed by her skill to hide from you so far. I mean, would you have even caught her if she didn't move up a set?" He purred the last sentence; looking over to me and smiling kindly.

Oh couldn't you just melt?

Come on Olivia stick with the program; no time to sidetrack yourself.

I returned back to the classroom to see Jonah out of his frozen state; and standing at the front of the class.

"..So although I am sorry for keeping her secret your majesty. She couldn't just rush into things with all that has happened to her-"

Jonah stopped speaking as I stood up quickly, causing a huge crash to result behind me as my chair fell down.

Anger burned in me, I didn't care if anyone was watching; I hated playing the pity card. Not in front of anyone.
