"Finn!" The strawberry-haired girl screamed and suddenly, the world around her felt like someone was pressing the speed-up on the remote as she skated faster. Her heart slammed against her rib cage with one word rattling inside her noggin when forcing herself to a sudden stop and dropping onto her knees, edging the hole on the ice.

The slippery cold ice seeped into her light blue jeans when she dropped onto her knees and without a second thought; Sadie thrusted her right arm into the lake's sapphire-colored water that held who-knows what.

Stupid?

Without a doubt, one of the most Incredibly stupidest things she's ever done in her life. But she didn't care about her arm in that moment, she cared about Finn.

Cough Cough *Who is currently sinking to the bottom of a lake* Cough Cough.

It took a split second for her nerves to realize just how painfully cold the lake's water were, but then again, what did she expect it to be? They were ice skating on a lake outside with the temperature in the early 30's, it wasn't gonna have a gigantic heater laying at the bottom.

Her right arm desperately reached out for something in the freezing waters of the lake, something that wasn't liquid as she bit the inside of her cheek, trying to bare with the pain spreading everywhere.  It felt like someone was slowly eating it off while she was still alive, which wouldn't be the most prettiest of things.

Then, the tips of her fingers got caught against something, something soft... something like fabric! Her bright eyes blew up with hope in realizing that it was a hoodie and quickly wrapped her fingers around before pulling the hoodie up towards her.

Her co-stars must've either heard the ice break or her scream because the familiar sounds their voices rang into her eardrums as they rushed down the ice and quickly took action; following her arm before thrusting their hands into the deep cold mysterious waters to help him up.

A few seconds later, they were surprised to find out Finn was still somewhat conscious as he was pulled out of the lake's icy waters, sputtering and coughing up the crystal clear liquid that dribbled down his chin. Caleb proceeded to prop him upright so gravity could get rid of anymore excess water and gave a few back blows in between the shoulder blades.

Shaky, thimble fingers went down to his skates despite protests and hastily tugged on the black laces to free himself from the rough material gnawing at his ankles, with the socks doing no good now being soaked through and through. His teeth clanked loudly against one another from the frigid temperature, it rattling in everyone's ears as they tried to get him to stand up, but all his did was swat their hands away.
