Harry and Hermione walk hand in hand along the trail so daisies that still had morning dew dripping off of them.
"So we haven't really had the chance to talk about what we are exactly and where this exactly is going...", Hermione stumbled out. I could sense the nervousness is her voice and she never looked up from her shoes that were scraping against cold dirt.
"Well Hermione all I know about us is that I truly care about you and in my heart I have always liked you but with Ron and Ginny there never seemed to be the right time to bring it up. Now that we have each other I never want it to be anyone else. I want you. Always." I softly grabbed her face and leaned my forehead against hers and held her so she would know that she was finally safe in my arms. "Harry, I never thought that we would get the day to where I would finally be comfortable enough to say how I truly felt about you. Ever since that day on the train when we were entering our first year and i saw two strangers sitting together never did I think that I would be lucky enough to be friends with both of them let alone be starting to fall in love with the messy haired one." We chuckled and Harry said "Hey no one taught me how to properly do my hair." Hermione replied "and clearly you still don't know how" as she attempted to fix the bird nest atop my head. They came up on top of a peak of a hill and as they approached it closer a blanket was strewn across the damp group and there was a picnic basket, a radio and a cat stuffed animal. "Oh my goodness what is all of this?" Hermione gasped. "Well considering all of the codswallop that you've gone through alone and I just wanted to show you that I will always be here for you. I know that erasing your parents memories about you was very difficult for you and I..." He stopped because he heard sniffing coming from her; he sat down with her on the blanket and pulled her close to him. "I just don't know what to do anymore. I miss them more and more everyday. I feel like I have no one but you now and don't get me wrong you're amazing but my parents are my parents. " She said. "Don't worry I understand. If anyone understand what missing parents feels like it's me right? Anyway what if there were a way we could restore there memories?"
"What are you blabbing about?"
"Well I've been doing some research like you have taught me so well and I found this book that some wizard from 450 years wrote that explained this potion and spell that could possibly restore ones memory."
"HARRY! Are you serious right now??" She exclaimed.
"Yes! And I've called a few fellow wizards and witches and they say that they heard that no one has tried the potion because there's some ingredient that is trapped on a remote island and it's rumored that there are enchantment that make it nearly impossible for you to remember where you are and why. There's also some magical creature protecting it. But I figure well we just defeated the most powerful and evil wizard known to the wizarding world what is a a small beast and few enchantments go THE Hermione Granger." I pinched her cheeks a little and she grinned.
"Do you really think we could do it?" She asked.
"Well we always do things as a trio so I think we need to get Ron to agree to come. I miss it being all three of us."
"I agree. But until then how about we enjoy this wonderful breakfast you've laid out for us." The sun crept over the horizon and gleamed onto Hermione's fair skin. How could she always seem to glow like an angel where the world is such a dark place. She is absolutely gorgeous and I know that my parents would have loved her.
The problems of the world seemed to disappear in an instant and all Harry and Hermione knew was that they were each right where they were meant to be, embraced in one another. Harry squeezed her around the waist and kissed the back of her neck. She turned around to face him and said "You are an unbelievable man Harry Potter." She pulled his warm, soft lips against her own and felt his hand reach around her waist and up her back. He loved the way she kissed, it wasn't always innocent and gentle like you would think but passionate and hot. She surprised him when she would slip a little tongue in so he would bite her lip a little then tug a little. He carefully laid her down on the blanket and pulled his face away from hers just long enough to see the happiness on her face. Never had he seen her so full of joy and hope. He drifted back toward her perfect body, slowly resting one of his hands on her hair while the other caressed her back. He felt her hands on his sides moving up towards his face. They separated and he moved his lips down her cheek and down to her neck. He gently kissed all around her neck, a small moan came out of her and he kissed her one more time on the lips and then laid on his back next to her. She rested her head on his chest and they watched the rest of the sun come up together. She looked up towards Harry and smiled as if to say "I love you." but he knew that it was too early for either of them to say the "L" word yet. The radio played the same song that they danced to in the tent while they were on the run and in that moment everything was perfect. He stared into her eyes and felt like he just got lost in a galaxy of her. "Hermione, I will never leave you. "
"I never want you to". They intertwined their fingers and didn't get up for hours.
