The story being: their mom(Beatrice) is a shitty person and cause Jade a lot of trauma growing up(Blakeley(Jade's twin sister) as well) and is the only thing that can make them cry in like a minute of (one sided)conversation and at this point in time they just block out anything she says ever hh
Also I colored their sweater w/ my bronze yellow color pencil cuz imo it's the worst color of color pencil I have but funnily enough I really???? like Jade w/ the bronze yellow and???? I'm prolly only gonna use it for their sweater(if I don't know what color I wanna use otherwise) from now on cuz it looks really nice hhhhhh
The in-universe reason for them wearing that specific color is that they purposely wore their least favorite sweater but it sorta backfired because Beatrice likes the color pdhsksbspdhsksbs
Anyways yes all of that was unnecessary but that's just what ends up happening so uh sorry
But yea Jade & Blakeley are Half angels which is cool :0 but it's a secret from their friends(well,, Blakeley's gf Rayen knows about cuz she trusts her enough and also as a couple they gotta tell each other stuff like that hecc,, especially if they plan on getring married pdhdk) because the less they can associate w/ their mom the better and uhhhh the two of them being half angels is a kinda shitty reminder of the mom they have BUT they have cool powers that they would've have been born w/ if it wasn't for their dad(who's a human w/ magic) so!! Thanks to James Hermansen for being their dad and making the twins childhood not completely terrible pfhdkdhs
