FLASHBACK back to 2 years ago
"Bye mom you too dad." I hugged them both as they turned to board their plane on their anniversary.
"Bye Mads. Don't forget to call us sometime this week."
She said I love you but it was muffled by the flight desk calling boarding. Roni was taking care of me for the next week until yoparents got back, you were a little sad to see them go but you knew they deserved a fun vacation. "So," Roni said "What do you want to do this week? We can start by getting lunch if you want?"
"Sure that sounds great, we can figure it out at the restaurant." I smiled and looked out the window as a plane took off and floated up into the air.
On my last day until my parents came home, I was packing up my bag when I heard a plate shatter. "R-Roni? Are you ok!" I hurried down the stairs and found her staring at the TV. I flicked my eyes to the screen and saw the news playing. "Commercial plane crashed on way back from Greece, all 185 passengers reported missing. Exact reason for the planes failure is unknown, but we suspect the engine malfunctioned and caught on fire." The screen displayed faces of the people who were in the crash. Each one twisting my stomach further into a knot. The faces of my mom and dad appeared on our tv. A strangled cry escaped through my mouth as stared at their faces. The walls all around me looked swirled and had black and white spots all around them. I never did finish packing my bag, instead I unpacked everything I owned into my aunts room. Now it was my room.
**So this was a flashback showing what happened last time she lost family members. How do you think she'll react after hearing from the hospital? Are you liking Mads character so far? She's pretty clumsy like me so I hope you guys can relate!
