King Sidon woke me up, telling me today was the day I would begin my training. He sat down next to me, lecturing me. "Milafi, remember the three aspects of a Zora princess. Beauty, Wisdom, and Strength. Be a warrior, be a scholar, but never forget, you are a princess, you must be elegant, and always embrace your beauty. Your trainer, Muzu, is waiting outside. He handed me a long sword, beaconing me to join Muzu.

I walked towards Muzu, with our traditional bow greeting, he bowed, than I. He had me follow him to the entrance, and told me to run the path to the Soh Kofi shrine, and to run the whole way. My thin and weak legs ached as I ran for the straight three hours going there and back. When I finally made it back, he only let me sit for what felt like ten seconds. I was very angry towards him, and to top off my anger, he told me to swim all the way to Mercay island. It was miles of swimming, and I was exhausted, but I knew if I refused he would punish me. I swam against currents, past monsters, and up stream. Three hours later I finally made my way back.

I was expecting to be able to rest, but Muzu said that now I would have to fight for one hour. I was so angry I cried! He made me climb the cliffs to Ralis pond, having me kill the Hinox. Tears rolled down my face until I killed him.

"Its 1 pm now, Princess Milafi. Its time for you to do your lessons now. We walked all the way back to domain, as I cried and begged for him to carry me. My cries fell on deaf ears. I thought that Muzu was cruel and evil at the time, but now I know he was preparing me, although I still do think it was a bit extreme. For five long hours, he forced an exhausted me to practice reading, math, science, spelling and history.

At 6 pm, my maid and nanny, Lady Slieha, picked me up as I cried onto her shoulder. Although I did not call her mother, Lady Slieha was the closest thing I ever had to a mom. She gently told me it was time to focus on the third aspect. She sat me in my royal chair, and thought me royal manners. When that was done, she rubbed my feet with milk and hearty durian juice. After that, she brought me a meal, it was not what I was used to. "Princess Milafi, you are no longer a small child. You must start acting like a princess. I know this is not what you are used too, but please try to eat it." she asked. I looked down again, seeing the plate which had cooked silent shroom and Stealthfin Trout. I wasn't having any of it, and I cried. Lady Slieha finally got me to eat some silent shroom, which to my young mind, was the most disgusting thing I had every tasted.

Lady Slieha gently told me I was doing it wrong, and showed me how to eat gracefully. I cried very hard, but Lady Slieha forced me to eat the whole meal. After my dinner, Lady Slieha told me the story of my aunt Lady Mipha for what felt the like millionth time. She brought me a small box, and told me to open it. It was lady Miphas clothing! I put it on, and  Lady Slieha cried a little at the sight, "You look beautiful darling, please make the clothing her own. If only she could see you now.."

I never changed the clothing, and I wore it every day since them
