-Youngjae POV-

As I start to walk to Mark's house, I let my mind take over and let my thoughts and imagination flow. I close my eyes for a split second and open them again. I look at my surroundings and start to think. As I look around, I notice that I'm walking past the park that my parents used to take me every day after school. The sweet memories.

After about 20 minutes of walking aimlessly, I find myself walking on a bridge that's hovering above the water. (It's about a 60 feet drop). In the distance, I can see the sun begin to set over the river. It's beautiful. I start to stare off into the horizon, wondering if there's anything beyond it. I start to think about what I have been going through these past few years. Remembering the hard times, like when my parents died in a car crash. I still remember that day. Looking at my parents faces before witnessing them both getting hit. The three of us were sitting on the bus on our way to the carnival, the carnival only comes to my city around two times a year. One around the summertime and one around the wintertime. I was just a normal bus ride until a large truck came crashing into the bus. The truck hit exactly where both of my parents were sitting. Instantly killing them both. I sat there in horror looking at my parent's lifeless bodies. Their blood splattered everywhere. I only got a broken arm and multiple cuts from the shattered window glass. From that day on I wish I was the one who got hit. Not them.

I start to feel tears well up in my eyes, and without thinking, I start to climb over the railing.

But I come to a stop when I feel a set of arms being wrapped around my waist and start to pull me away from the railing. I start to scream out in protest.

Why would someone save me? I just want to leave this world behind and join my parents and live in peace. I want to live without any doubts or hate.

I start to squirm around and start to push away the arms that were wrapped around me. I stop, knowing that I wasn't making any progress, I turn around to see the face of my 'hero'.

"J-Jackson? W-what are you d-doing h-here?" I stutter. Surprised that it was he who saved me.

Why would he save me? He doesn't care about me. Nobody does.

"YOUNGJAE WHAT WERE YOU THINKING?! J-JUMPING OVER THE RAILING AND L-LEAVING US! WITHOUT EVEN A WARNING! H-HOW COULD YOU! HOW COULD YOU DO THIS TO THE PEOPLE WHO LOVE YOU?!" Jackson shouts, while tears streaming down his face. His arms that were wrapped around my waist tightened. He turns me to face him and buries his face into my neck. All I can hear is Jackson crying. Like genuinely crying, like he is at a loved one's funeral.

Maybe he does care.
