My Only Friend

~Chapter 1~

              As I unload the last of my boxes into my dorm. I think about all the good things that happened here it's where I met my best friends Kylee, Riley, and Mila. It's also where I met my girlfriend of 2 years Camila or Cam. Then, I head into our dorm and see Mila and Kylee. "Hey girls." I say excited to see them again. "Hey Jay!" Kylee says running up to me. Kylee looks up to me like a older brother she is also the youngest in our group. She is studying professional writing. "Hi Jayden" Mila says not looking up from her book. Mila is the smartest person in our group studying in literature. "Are the others here yet?" I questioned looking around. "Yeah, they went to get books for their classes." Kylee said sitting down continuing to write. "Oh okay. What are you writing Kylee?" I ask. "I'm writing a short story for a contest." Kylee says smiling happy with what she's writing. Suddenly I'm tackled in a hug and fall to the floor. "Oh my gosh, I am so sorry." Camila says looking at me worried. "It's okay Cam" I say hugging her tight. "Get a room." Riley says snickering at what just happened. Riley is the oldest in our group. "Hey Jay" Alexis said jealous of Camila. Alexis has been my friend through childhood. "What's up?" said Alex who was carrying his twins suitcase. "The sky" I said looking directly at Alex smirking. "I hate you" Alex said playfully leaving to go to his dorm.

                Later that day, "I'm going to get food anyone want any?" Kylee said getting up. "I think I speak for everyone when I say yes." Riley said not looking away from the tv. "Want me to go with you Kylee?" I say getting up. "No, I'm a big girl. I can do this myself." Kylee said opening the door and leaving. "What should we do while we wait" Cam asks looking at everyone. "We can read. I brought plenty of books for everyone." Mila said smiling at us. "Uh, no thanks books aren't my thing." Riley said turning to look at her. "I'm going to go to bed" Alexis said getting up after looking at her phone and walking to her room. "Um...what's wrong with her" Cam says looking at me. "Probably on her monthly." Riley says snickering at his own joke. "It's been a long day let her be." I said sticking up for Alexis.
