My Only Friend

~Chapter 3~

                             Later that night, "Very funny guys. Who did it? You guys know you aren't allowed in my room" Cam said walking out of her room holding a wilting red rose. "It wasn't me. You know I'm allergic to pollen." Mila said inching away from the flower. "Not my type of prank and you know that." Riley said looking up from his computer. "Sorry Cam but, I didn't do it. I know you don't like me going in your room." I say getting up from the couch and walking to her. "Here let me see the rose" I tell her looking at it very closely. "Hey can you show me where you found this? If you're okay with that." I quickly add the last part so she doesn't feel like she has too. "Sure, let's go." Cam said quickly leading me towards her room. She leads me over to her windowsill. "Was your window locked?" I asked looking around the window. "Yes, you know I lock them and closed the blinds." Cam said looking at me. "Wait what's this?" I said bending down picking up a sheet of paper. "It's addressed to Riley. Maybe one of his friends thought this was his room and put this in here. "Let's take it out to him" I suggest looking at the handwriting 'I've seen this handwriting before.'.

                          Next, we head out to Riley and Mila. "Hey Riley look at what one of your buddies left in my room with the rose." Cam says throwing the note at him. "Uh...Sorry to say but none of my friends have that neat of handwriting. Besides the windows can't open from the outside, so they would have had to come in while we were gone." Riley said looking at all three of us. "Guys, let's go to the library it will get our minds off everything and I also need to return some books." Mila said holding a stack of three books in her hands. "Come on we should all stay together" Riley said getting up. "Don't forget to lock the door Jayden." Mila said heading out.
