Take A Hint

Chapter 1

I was sitting at the table during lunch waiting for all of my friends to come sit with me. The first to come was Jay.
"Hey Liv." He says scooting next to me
"Hey Jay..." I reply
"So what are we doing for your birthday?! You should throw a party!" He suggested shaking me by my shoulders
"Haha, yeah right. My parents are out of down and I would be DEAD if they found out." I reply staring down at the table. I don't really eat much. I'm not sure if it's a disorder but I just got. Have a big appetite.
"All the more reason you should do it!" He says. Everyone else comes and sits down.
"What are we talkin about?" Asks my best friend Keely
"Miss Olivia is being a goodie two shoes and won't throw a party for her birthday."
"You should totally do it! Your parents are out of town anyway, they wouldn't find out." Says my other best friend Amy
"It's not like anyone would come anyway..." Scoffs Emily, she's the slut in our group she's hooked up with everyone one of the guys too.
"Heyyy I would go!" Says my guy friend Tyler.
"No she's right, no one would want to come anyway." I laugh nervously. We finish our lunches and talking about random stuff, but Jay keeps staring at me... Maybe he's mad? I'm not sure. I'll ask him in 7th period.

(7th period)

"Alright class, I'm going to assign you partners and then I will start with our lesson today... Allie and Taylor... James and Gerrica... Jay and Olivia..." Jay comes over to me and sits beside me.
"Hey, um... Are you okay? You seemed kinda out of it at the middle of lunch earlier..." I ask putting my hand on his shoulder lightly
"Yeah I'm fine." He laughs it off, and we continue with our lesson.
A couple minutes before the bell rings and we still haven't even got a quarter of the way through, he has been talking about how he has been hooking up with this girl Brittney and how good she is in bed...
"Alright, we aren't going to finish this, so maybe I could come over to your place? Or you can come to mine..."
"You should come to mine!" He says excitedly, I giggle and pack up my stuff.

I finally got home and decided to finish my homework for other classes, I wasn't heading over to Jays till 6. I finished my homework and decided to go on my phone to pass time.

It finally hit 5:50 and I got an Uber to take me to Jays house. As we pulled up I saw a car that looked slightly familiar but I couldn't tell who's it was. I knocked on the door and no one answered, I decided to walk in and the door was surprisingly unlocked.
"Um... Jay?" I call out. I called out a few more times when I heard banging from upstairs. I walk up the stairs to his room and opened the door.
"OH! Oh my god!" I screamed. I saw Emily completely naked and Jay with his shirt off making out with each other.
"I'm so sorry um..." I stared to go when Emily jumped up and put on one of Jays shirts and she scoffed at me then walked out. Still in shock I look over at Jay. He was still shirtless and he smirked at me.

"I- uh- um..." I stuttered
"Glad you could make it" he winked and came stumbling over to me. He grabbed me by the waist and leaned in for a kiss. I put my hands on his chest and got a whiff of his breath. It reeked of beer.
"You're drunk Jay." I state disappointedly and push him off of me. He falls back into his bed and closes his eyes. I sit next to him and rub his arm, pretty soon he falls asleep. I decide to write him a note

So you were drunk, I guess we can finish our papers tomorrow. Feel better soon. You also tried to kiss me... so.

I didn't really know what to say so I put the note next to a glass of water and two Advil's on his nightstand. I really hope he apologizes to me tomorrow.
