Darius , flashing back to his childhood ~ Waking up , in New England , on an early morning , it's cold and misty outside , with fall weather and dying leafs that are shriveling.... "Darius!" , yells his mother."Darius! , come downstairs now!, your biological father is here and he wants to talk with you! ". Darius is still a little fuzzy and half asleep. " Emily ", you really don't have to , I'll just wait for another time , says Darius's biological father, ' Engrid'. Darius , woken up , stumbles down the staircase just as his father walks out the door . " Daddy!!!! , wait! Daddy come back!". Darius's mother turns to him and he's sitting on the bottom of the staircase , weeping. Darius's mother speaks , " He's gone Darius , you should have woken up , he said he'll try to come back at another time". " But , says Darius , but I need to ask him a question, but now he's gone!". Darius , running up the stairs yelling " It's all my fault! I hate myself! I wish I didn't exist!". Darius then, opens his closet door , steps in, and shuts it angrily. He talks to himself of how he should just go back in the past , and just change it , so they never met , so they didn't create me , so I don't exist. Emily stomping up the stairs , opening Darius's bedroom door , looks in , but Darius isn't there . She opens the closet door , to see Darius , shaking himself , back and forth , trying to erase his existence. Emily looking flustered , says . " You remember him , you remember him , right?" "No" , says Darius, I don't , I've never had the chance to meet him ".
