Chapter 2

Ethan's P.O.V

I thought the party was to... girly. It was a great party, but not one that I'll fit in. I stood awkwardly behind Emma as she was dancing and talking with her fiends, I didn't know any guy here, and most guys didn't seem to want to know me as well. Earlier in the party, I tried talking with them, but all seemed to not be interested in me, the respond was neutral- in high school I went trough things likes this.

I danced awkwardly next to Emma, "I think we should go." I say.

Emma frowns, "Why? the party is great!"

I gave her a look and she sighed, "Fine one hour sounds good to you?"

I nodded, it honestly wasn't but I want her to enjoy, "I'll leave." I said.

She bite her lips, "Are you sure? I can-"

"Emma, it's you're friends birthday party. Stay."

She smiles, "Besides it's not like you were having a good time."

I nod, "Exactly."

"I'm sorry I brought you into this, maybe when u asked me I should have said no"

It was true. Emma said that she was going to a party, I said ' can I come?' and she invited me over, little did I know not most of Emma's friends or guys the Emma's friends hang out with are anything like Ema. Or maybe it's been long since I went to a birthday party like this and forgot how to... party.

I laughed, "If I ever asked to go to a party with you and you said no, I wont cry."

She kissed my lips, "Good night."

I wrapped a hand around her waist and kissed her, "Night" I whisper. 

I walked away from her, said 'thank you, for inviting me' to her best friend, and left. The party was amazing, the people were not my type. But still, I got to stay with Emma. Two weeks ago Emma and I finally got together. Our relationship wasn't awkward, we acted the same, and the best part, I can kiss her!

Yeah, not what we expected for me to say, but go on with it.

"Ethan!" Someone called. I turned around and saw Meredith running after me. Meredith and I spoke to each other for about five minuets at the party, it wasn't awkward but it was clear she was over me. She hang out with diffrent guys, and talked with the girls in the party. Except me, she only came once to say hi and disappeared.

She came up to me and smile, "Leaving so soon?"

I smiled back, "Yeah, I just thought I'll let Emma enjoy, I wasn't fitting in."

She laughs, "It's like that. So, I totally forgot to say, I'm so happy for you moving on. I thought once what happen to us, it was going to be over with you're self on seeing other people. I didn't want to carry that guilt or anything for ruining you're life or something. I'm glade you're happy now."

I frown, "Meredith, it's okay. It was my choice I didn't date for too long, I needed to trust who I'm with, and in the past I was a bit busy on finding a person, Emma just came out of the bloom."

She sighs a relief, "I'm glade. I'm always here if you need me however."

"Thank you." I waved got in my car and drove back home.

Emma's P.O.V

Food, was great. Music was lit, People were awesome. Party was fucking shit that was over the top. Ethan... really wasn't into it.

I didn't mind, that's how we roll since we were best friends. We told each other straight up either we liked something, or didn't. We always didn't judge each other, or mind what we think. That's why our little thing is actualy working.

"Emma!" Hannah yelled rushing over.

I frowned and turned around, she had a worried look on looking at her phone.

"What?"

She turned the phone around and I saw it.

"Fuck." I say. 

Someone's P.O.V

"Don't try to hard."

I rolled m eyes, "I didn't the plan is going the way we wanted"

"It's just the first step!" They yelled.

I sighed, "Stop yelling my ear drums would burst. They wouldn't suspect it, besides it all in order."

"You're fucking sure it's on?'

"Posted."
