The Beginning Plot

"Thanks Mom see ya tomorrow." I told my mom as she drove off. This was gonna be the best sleepover ever just me and my best friends.

I'm getting ahead of myself, hi my name's Dakota and I have three best friends; Caroline the brains, Melody the sweetest person you well ever meet, Kira, shes cunning and very resourceful. Then there's me.

Well lets get back to the story at hand. As I got into Caroline's room everybody was on there phones.

"Really you're all on your phones." They all looked up from there screens a little surprised. I guess they didn't know I was here.

"We were just waiting for the life of the party." Caroline spoke I put my stuff down and sat next to Melody.

"So what are we doing to-" I couldn't believe my eyes there was an owl outside with what looked like to be a letter in it's mouth.

"I'll go get it." I ran downstairs and went outside. As I looked around the owl was gone but the letter was at my feet.

I picked the letter up and carried it upstairs to Caroline's room. As I closed the door everyone's eyes were on me, "Ok let's see what this says." With that I opened the letter it read,

Dear Girls,

I will arrive at your home at six o'clock sharp.

-AD

After everyone read it we just sat there in silence.

"Who's AD." Kira asked.

"Kira that's what we all would like to know." Melody snapped

Everyone looked at her in shock, she never snapped at us unless she was stressed.

Caroline got up from her chair and sat on the bed and grabbed her hand. "Why don't we do something fun." Kira suggested as I looked around the room I could tell that everyone was in there own way of dealing with this piece of information.

As I looked at the clock I was in a mix of horror and shocked it was five forty five. fifteen minutes left until we found out what this letter means.

We spent those fifteen minutes in silence not knowing what was going to happen. Then we heard the doorbell ring we looked around at one another as if trying to decide of who's going to look outside the door or window.

Someone has to go down there to see who it was but everyone even me was scared out of there wits. "I'll go see who it is." I said as I was about to walk out the door everyone gave me a hug. As I walked down stairs I saw no one at first, then when I got to the kitchen I saw what looked like to be an old man in a robe. "Who are you?" The man stood up and came one foot away from me.

"I'm Albus Dumbledore, the Head Master at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry." I looked at him like he is crazy, "Wait. You think me and my friends are witches and you want us to come to your school. What about our school that we already go to? Where is this school? Do our parents know about this?"

"Well, we have already enrolled you at Hogwarts and quit your old school. Hogwarts is in London England. Yes, I have informed all of your parents and they were informed to let me tell you. But go upstairs and tell your friends to come downstairs Dakota Rose."

"Yes sir and how did you know my name might I ask?" I looked into his eyes and saw nothing but kindness in them.

"I know all about you and your friends Miss Rose."

With that I went upstairs and told my friends everything I just heard from Dumbledore.

As my friends and I walked down stairs we saw Dumbledore sitting at the kitchen table, I sat down beside him and so did my friends.

"Now I'm here to answer your questions and you all are going school shopping in two days."

Melody spoke up first, "When does school start?"

"September 1st. So that means all of you will be moved to an apartment until school starts."

Then Caroline spoke, "What year would we been in."

"Fourth year and don't worry I will send a teacher to get you caught up with the other students."

Lastly Kira spoke up, "When will we be moving?"

"Tomorrow we have to get you to London as fast as possible to get you caught up."

"Oh, one last thing you all can each bring a pet either a cat, owl, or toad." With that he walked out. "What are we gonna do." Caroline said as she sat on the couch "We have to go home and pack, we are leaving tomorrow for London and the wizarding world." Kira added "Not to mention that I want to get a owl. I guess I will do it tomorrow."

"Thank God me and Caroline already have cats." Said Melody, "Well we better get going Caroline, Melody, Dakota." As we grabbed our stuff from upstairs and gave Caroline hugs. Kira, Melody, and I began the silent walk home.

When I got home and the house was empty I guess all of our parents were out to dinner together.

I went to my room and looked around this as always been my room and I'm gonna be living in London for the rest of my school life.

Why is this happening!
