Sorting!

DAKOTAS POV

We were here at last. We went into the great hall and we waited on the sides for our names to be called I looked all around the room I saw Professor Dumbledore, then Professor McGonagall, next to her was a man in all black, he had black hair and harden facial features. "Pay attention Dakota he's talking about us," Caroline whispered has she hit my arm.

"Now we have four new four years joining us this years so I want you to treat them with the up most respect and, we will began the sorting "Caroline Weaver," Professor McGonagall called Caroline made her way up to the sorting hat less the a minute the hat shouted Ravenclaw the one of the four long tables cheered and Caroline went to sit down, Kira and Melody got sorted Kira was in Slythern and Melody was in Gryffindor. "Dakota Rose," my turned white as I climbed the steps to the hat, the hat was placed on my head. " Very difficult, smart, brave, caring, but your very cunning like your friend Kira." I giggled at that last comment "I know what to do with you GRYFFINDOR!" I sat up and went to the table that was cheering and sat next to Melody After all of the first years got sorted we went to the common room that was laced in read and yellow.

I went to the room I was sharing with Melody and a girl named Hermione, we got to the rooms and our robes were laid out on our beds as we got settled in Hermione told us about all of the events going on like the Yule ball and the Tri Wizard Tournament. "Yeah Melody where's our cats?"

"They're I think in the luggage room, if they didn't get delivered." Hermione said

"I have an hour left before curfew, Melody do you want me to get Nabez?" I asked "Yes please," she responded. I left the common room and went down the hallway to the luggage room I was looking at the floor and bumped into someone I looked up and once again my face paled it was the Professor that I saw in the great hall. Hermione said his name was professor Snape, "I'm so sorry I wasn't watching where I was going." I apologized

"Now Mis. Rose what are you doing in the halls with 45 minutes until curfew," he questioned
"My friend and I's cats didn't get delivered to our room so I was going to get them before curfew in the luggage room." I answered shyly "Very well, but be back in your room before curfew." With that he continued to walked down the long narrow halls.
With that I got to the luggage room within 15 minutes got the cars and headed to Gryffindor Towers. I headed up the the dorm and everyone was asleep I let the cats out of there cages and changed into pj and, was heading for bed when I heard a tapping on my window, I looked at the window and there was an owl. I unlocked the window and took what looked like to be a piece of paper on his leg, I opened the note it read:

Meet me in the astronomy tower after classes.

My eyes went wide why would Draco want to meet with me, I guess I would go and see what he wants. I folded up the piece of paper and put it on my night stand I covered myself up and went to bed.

Melodies Pov
I woke up to sun in my face I got up and went to the bathroom to get dressed in my robe. I walk out fully ready to see hermione already gone and Dakota still sleeping I went over to see her phone and a piece of paper folded up, I was about to reach it but decided against it knowing if Dakota wanted to talk about it she would.
Instead of the piece of paper I reached for her phone and set an alarm for 5 minutes, I grabbed my bag and headed out to eat breakfast. I headed down to the great hall. When I entered the great hall one of our perfects were handing out timetables I grabbed mine and Dakotas witch were exactly the same

As I looked up from my timetable I saw Dakota and couldn't believe it she was all natural. Instead of her purple aubrey it was her natural ebony black and her eyes were a grey blue instead of her frost blue contacts. Dakota sat down and groaned "it's not that bad Dakota and here's your timetable we have all the same classes," I said trying to make the situation better "our first class begins in a bit lets go," I said wanting to get to class early.

Times skip to potions Dakotas Pov
The day went by fast my favorite class so far is care of magical creatures. Hagrid the teacher of the class really likes me and says I have potential, which is great now I have potions and I'm super nervous for two reasons one, Draco two, Professor Snape. I walked into the classroom with Melody at my side we saw Kira from the other side of the room. We would all have to hang out after school. I sat down on the Gryffindor side of the class a few seconds later Professor Snape came in and the class was silent "we will be making draught of peace, now go," the Professor said has he sat down.
"Ok we can do this I looked up this potion in the textbook so here's the ingredients, just get me the ingredients and I will brew, does that sound good or do you wanna switch?" I asked Melody just to be fair "no it sounds good."
"Time." Professor Snape called he got to ours first and looked into our caldron "tell me which one of you made this?" He questioned before Melody could speak up I stepped in "both of us," he mumbled an interesting and left to go look at the other students work.
"That could have gone better," I said.
