“Janro has really grown for I still remember him so small that I always carry him” Mom said for she was reminiscing the times
“And now he is all grown-up, playing video games always. Lena tried to knock out some sense from her brother” Aunt Melissa, Janro and Lena’s mother, said
“Mom..” Janro scratched the back of his neck likewise playing his video games
“Where is Lena anyways?” Angel asked instead of me and we were all in the living room drinking tea and eating slices of cake
“Oh, she went to a hang-out at the National Park” Aunt Melissa replied then sipped her tea
“Drake, how about you surprise Lena” Mom suggested and I looked at her with wide eyes
“Oh my! What a romantic story!” Angel mocked and I jabbed her “oww”
“My sister loves to read pocketbooks and wished that she would have her daring prince charming” Janro, Lena’s little brother, said while playing video games
“What are you playing?” I asked Janro and he stopped playing his PSP
“Call of Duty but you wouldn’t be interested in this kind of game anyways” He said then he started playing again
“I play those kinds of games and maybe we might battle one on one for I brought my laptop with me. I could—“
“Dude” Janro halted me “that would be great!”
I smiled at him and I can see that aunt Melissa was texting someone
“Lena said that she wants to get picked up but the driver is busy..” Aunt sighed “maybe I could make her wait for a few more minutes”
“Why the rush?” Angel asked aunt
“Her friends didn’t come” Aunt replied and I kind of pity Lena
“Drake can drive” Mom suddenly blurted and I struck her a glare
“Mom!” I face-palmed and I was kind of embarrassed
“What? You know how to drive!” Mom said
Mom can be devious. I mean, I know that she is taking advantage so that Lena and I can get some alone time at the car or something like that.
“I don’t know.. Is it okay for you, Drake?” Aunt said and I looked at her then I sighed
Shall I do it?
“I-I guess I can pick her up” I finally agreed “but I need someone to—“
“We are too busy” Angel and Janro suddenly said and I widened my eyes
I wasn’t finish of what I was suppose to say and they just suddenly rejected. What a pain in the arse!
“We don’t want to disturb the moment” Janro said while playing his PSP
“After all, be the knight in shining armor por avor” Angel seconded
I don’t understand these guys!
