From Incheon to Seoul South Korea.
The raven haired boy rest his head against the cool glass window of the car, his eyes roaming over the passing trees as they neared the city of Seoul. He had always wanted to visit the city, but not live in it, the city was big and he didn't want to have to deal with that after just living in a cosy suburban area for the last seventeen years of his life.
Even his friends were skeptical about why he was leaving just before holiday began, who would even do that? Apparently his parents did, because they didn't care if their son was annoyed by it, they were the ones in charge. Apparently. The boy rolled his eyes as they turned a corner, the world outside changing from trees and bushes to homes and shops.
His eyes caught onto a moving truck and wondered if the person moving into that house was as annoyed as he was. Why did he have to move? He could have stayed with his aunt or something, it's not like his parents wanted him anyways, it would have been better off that way. Of course that's not the case, whatever they say goes, even if they're afraid of him.
"Jeno, we're here" his mother said, her voice monotone as she stepped out of the black SUV, Jeno following pursuit afterwards, his eyes capturing the outside of the house.
Of course it was big, with a huge electric fence looming above them, he smirked at the thought of how many parties he could throw in it. Soon they were through the gate and walking into the house, the marble flooring made his mother shoes echo throughout the foyer as she walked through a doorway and into another room, leaving Jeno to roam.
He smiled and felt the water particles in the air around him, he quickly created a staff-like stick before jogging through one of the archways and into an open room. The house was very empty so far, leaving Jeno to roam as he searched for a door to the backyard. When he finally found one, he opened it only to come face to face with a dog.
"Oh I'm sorry, I forgot to lock Dex up" a voice said, Jeno turned to find a girl his age, wearing jeans and a t-shirt, she quickly grabbed the Rottweiler and pulled him by the collar towards a dog kennel.
"That's fine, you must be the daughter of the security guard" Jeno says, quickly hiding his staff behind his back as he recalled what his mother said on the drive.
"That's me, I'm Andy, my mother is the chef here as well I'm from America" she says, as if knowing Jeno would ask where she was from, in all honesty he didn't care, he just wanted to know someone.
"Cool, you go to the school down the road?" Jeno asks, causing her to laugh awkwardly and nod, maybe it would be awkward to ask her to show him around.
"Cool, well I was just about to practice some things, if you don't mind" Jeno says, at first she seems confused until she finally realizes he means alone, sending him a small apologetic smile before leaving.
With a sigh he brings his staff back out, his feet moving him to the center of the yard as he begins to practice his magic. One thing he has always loved is the way his water magic could differ. He could be creating ice out of thing Air one moment and creating a six foot wave of water the next. He was powerful and he knew it.
But what good was something that he couldn't use? No one would understand him and his abilities, so he had to keep it secret, for his own good and for his family. That didn't mean practicing wasn't allowed.
A/N
Okay, so like, I've been writing this for like a week now and... I have 18 chapters? Like 500 - 700 words and I am confused... I don't usually write this much, maybe it's because I'm on holidays, but idk. Also, I was meant to write this chapter about BEFORE he moved to Seoul but... my dumbass was like... yeah no so... this is what happened... yay😂😂
