Killer Christmas

Chapter two

When the power went out we all screamed. It was late at night and it was all dark. "Taylor go put the baby to sleep" said my mom "yes ma" I said back. "Mommy I'm scaredddddddd" Tyler, my four year old brother whined. "Tyler stop whining you will be ok." Mom replied exasperated. Dad had fallen asleep in the middle of the movie and my older sister decided to not watch the movie and just hangout in her room on her phone. "Tayla are u ok?" Mom shouted up the stairs. "Nooo my phone dieddddddd" Tayla whined back. "Well it's time u take a break from it anyway" Mom replied.

The baby started crying and all of a sudden I was scared to go upstairs with the Baby by myself.

The power has been out for 4-5 hours. Our house at this point is so chaotic, Mom is stressed out, it's about 4am no one is asleep except for tayla. Then all of a sudden dads phone rang. Dad had waken up after the Baby started crying. "Hello?" Dad picked the phone up. "Hello" said a scratchy voice. "Everyone is at the park if u wanna come over we have the whole place lite with candles" then dad realized it was aunt Jayden. "Ok we'll head over around 5." "Ok see you then"

It was now five and the power had been out for 6 hours now. As our family headed down to the park the baby was wailing the whole time. It was really annoying. As we got to the park it was almost dawn and everyone was at the park with blankets and food.

As the clock slowly ticked to 6am everyone had decided to stay the whole day. As we got breakfast and at it I say a few of my friends and went over to talk to them, after the consent of my parents.

"Hey Annie"
"Hey Taylor"
"How's your family?"
"The Baby has been crying since like forever"
"Oof"
As we were talking I swear I saw a figure in a red suit and a Santa hat.
"Taylor?"
"Oh ya sorry"
"Lost you there for a second"
"Sorry uh I should go"

As I took one more glance behind the tree I saw another flash of red.
