My eyes slightly opened as I looked around. There was a blanket around me and something kept me warm. I slowly stretched my arms and yawned. Suddenly the warmth next to me fell off my shoulder and onto the ground creating a small earth quake.

I immediately woke up. I looked at the ground. "Lafayette!" I shrieked remembering last night as he began to cuss in French.

"Merde de putain!" He mumbled, holding his shoulder, pouting.

"Sorry," I winced dropping on the floor and helping him up. "Are you okay?" I asked as I propped him up against the couch.

"Yeah," He answered rubbing his shoulder one last time.

"Good because we'd be late to school if you weren't," I beamed and gave him a hard pat on his shoulder making him wheeze out in pain. I pushed myself up and went to the bathroom to get clothes.

Lafayette didn't bring any clothes so he remained in his old outfit and vowed to me to get a clean attire as soon as he could. We grabbed our bags and walked outside. The cold air hit us harder than we hoped, causing us both to shiver. Lafayette had a coat but I was too prideful to grab a coat myself. So while I was freezing my butt off, the now smug Lafayette had a good and warm coat.

"You want it?" He asked me as we walked along the sidewalk. I looked at him as we kept walking trying to see if he was joking.

"I can't do that," I told him and hugged myself just a bit tighter (wishing it was him).

"But you can, I'll just-" He stated as he started to take his coat off.

"It's freezing, I'll be fine," I told him as I stuck out my hand at him. He didn't listen and handed me his coat. I sighed and put it on. "Thanks," I mumbled as he smiled while he stuck his hands in his pockets.

"De rien," He answered making me chuckle lightly.

Big mistake on his part. When we arrived he was sneezing and coughing all over the place.

"What did you do to him?" Alexander asked as we walked towards him, while he tries to type and his compute on his knee.

"He wanted to be a hero and nobody stopped him," I explained while Lafayette sneezed as I handed him his coat so he could wear it. He quickly grabbed it and put it on.

"Do I need to supervise you every 3 seconds Lafayette?-...IS THAT A PEN?!" Alexander yelled as he ran towards a girl who was handing out pens for a campaign.

He hands me his computer and we watch as he runs up and starts chasing the girl as she franticly sprints away throwing pens behind her to try and distract him.

Lafayette and I ended up in a chuckle. Which grew into a French laughing fit.

"I'll see you later!" I saluted him as he sneezed but smiled back at me.

"Bye!" He waved me off as I dragged myself up the stairs to economics.

"Yay," I sighed and entered the room. I sat down all the way in the back and grabbed my stuff. When I was doing that someone sat right beside me.

Let me give you some context. This classroom can fit 250 students. We are with 35. So we've got enough spaces. We don't know each other so we don't sit near each other. So then why does this person think it's a good idea to sit a shoulder-length away from me? Like, Buddy, do you want to get soccer punched in the throat?

I turned my head and saw the Lafayette-look alike. The guy I beat up a few weeks ago. (STILL DON'T REGRET IT NO MATTER HOW MUCH WASHINGTON BEGGS ME!)

The myth, the legend. Drum roll please......

Thomas Hairy Kiwi(bird) Jefferson.

Yes.

I looked around as he kept unpacking his sh*t on the table-MY TABLE.

...

"The f*ck are you doing here?" I asked as he looked at me, college glasses on fleak.

"Um, unpacking. Duh!" He stated as he put his laptop on the table and closed the backpack.

"Yeah, yeah, I get that part," I stated as I nodded. "Why next to me though?" I asked pointing to literally the 215 other places.

"Don't know. I felt like it," He smirked at me and crossed his arms.

"'Felt like it'? Really I'll give you some thing else to feel like a punch in the noes." I huff to myself and went to pack my stuff.

"Lecture starts now," The professor stated.

"fan-bloody-tastic!" I groan.

"Everyone sit down," He told us as I mocked him for a second before plopping down.

"F*ck me," I mumbled.

"Gladly,"

"F*ck off, will you? Or do you want a repeat of...." I sass causing him to wince.

"Nah, I'm good," He squeaks.
