Chapter 1 (the past)

Hi there my name is Samantha, but you already knew that i have long brown hair and green eyes I'm thirteen, so how did this all start you might ask, well when i was four my mother died of heart problems my biological dad died in the service so who decided to take care of me yup you guessed it my ass hat of a step dad i just call him Eric because that's his name but when i was five....

we were walking home my step dad drunk and i made the mistake of saying "i miss mommy..." i said then he stopped in his tracks and started to beat me without any mercy, i covered my face closing my eyes i wasn't crying because i was use to it by now, then as i was about to black out "Hey!" i look up to see three men one had dark brow hair brown eyes, and a black suit on, the other had sleeked back dark hair and ice blue eyes and a grey suit on, the third had blonde hair pale skin and blue eyes and had like like a doctor coat on, the one with grey suit tackled Eric while the  others were at my side "she's losing a lot of blood, we need to get her out of here" the one with blonde hair said  ,That night Eisuke,Soryu and Luke saved my life

                                                       Sam pov

Its been awhile since i thought about that night, I've been living under the grid since i was about six, I'm living in a rundown motel on the bad side of town, i pay cash your probably asking how does a thirteen year old girl get money? (whispers) well i may kind of do underground cage fighting, any way if you win you make a lot of money, but any way i stay hidden any way i do that and go to school I'm thirteen but I'm in 12th grade because of how smart i am, class president and Yada yada, i still keep in contact with Eisuke, Soryu and Luke, i did lie to them though i told them I'm staying with a relative but that's not true i don't have any relatives left, but i can make it on my own just fine, i talk to at least one of them once a month they always call to make sure I'm doing okay, Mainly Soryu i like talking to him he kinda reminds me of my real dad, i have a gold heart locket around my neck with both my parents in it i hold it sigh any way I've got to get to school now i put my school uniform on and grab my backpack close the door and lock it and walk to the public bus stop and get on. 

                                                           Timeskip after school

I walk out the school and my eyes go wide because i think i see my step dad across the street a car goes by and he's gone, no, no he's not here he's in jail he can't hurt you i closed my eyes and someone bumped into me "oh sorry Sam" a girl said "it's alright.." i said i looked at my watch I better get going or I'm going to be late, i thought i grabbed my bag and ran i got to the bad part of town and see the place I'm looking for, i walk down the ally and someone comes to the slide of the door "password?" he said "sea turtles.." i whispered he nodded and let me in "welcome back Sam" he smiled i smirked back "thank you Jake." i said making my way to the gym

                                               Eisuke pov

I'm sitting in the lounge with everyone Baba has the tv on as I'm reading "in other news Eric sloth has been released from prison," The news Anchor said  my eyes go wide at the name that's Sam's step father I thought i take my eyes off the documents I'm reading "turn that up.." i said Soryu is also watching, "not after his brutal attack on his step daughter, and being a member of the former mob of the Golden tigers, he has been released on good behavior, Sloth has promised he is willing to keep his distance from his step daughter and is a changed man, but is it true?" the news woman said "Sloth was known for countless crimes throughout several cities, and some still wonder if he had anything to do with his former wife's death, Tabitha Sakamaki" the news anchor said "and is he truly a changed man? only time will tell this is Abby reporting live more as it happens" she said  "I can't believe they released that guy..." i said Soryu "I think we need to make a visit to an old friend," i said as i got up "do you still have her address?" i asked he nodded "lets go.." i said "can we come too?" Baba asked "whatever" i said "lets go grab Luke and head out to find her" i said he nodded

we come up to a big house with a lot of cars, i knock on the door a older lady answers it "can i help you boys?" she said as she smiled "yes were here to talk to Samantha Sakamaki," i said "I'm sorry you have the wrong house," the woman said  "this is 1132 maple lane right?" i asked she nodded "has anyone by that name ever lived here?" Soryu asked "I'm sorry boys but no, it seems you've been tricked" she said and smiled "thank you ma'am.." i said "if she hasn't been living here where has she been staying?" i asked "guess were gonna have to do this our way," i said "Mamoru i need you to find Samantha Sakamaki, she's thirteen brown hair and green eyes.." i said "mind telling us whats going on," he said "I'll explain later, i need you to find her phone calls, where she's staying, anything you can" i said "I can't believe she had me and Soryu thinking she was staying with relatives, all this time how did she manage to keep that up, "is she even staying with relatives or anyone?" Soryu said "I'll have my men keep a look out for her," he said i nodded and we walked back to the hotel i just hope she's safe i thought
